    The Decade Of Tyranny

Loss of basic freedoms has spurred a mass awakening, next decade will be defined by restoration of liberties

During the first nine years of the new millennium we have been witness to a rapid erosion of freedom. Our basic liberties have been systematically denigrated and diluted by a vast expansion of coordinated global tyranny.

The decade is not over yet, there is still another year to go, however, given that the mainstream media is obsessively compiling it’s own decade lists, we felt it necessary to draw up our own to highlight the major events that have shaped the world we now live in and the future we face.

It is important to stress the fact that while we have indeed experienced a decade of tyranny, we have also seen a mass awakening, an expansion of knowledge and an exponential increase in opposition to the agenda we have come to know as the new world order.

Here in chronological order, follow’s Prisonplanet.com’s defining moments of the decade.

If it's on prison planet, I don't have to read it to know how it goes.

    It's all blamed on Bush.

Obama and the democrats get a complete pass for the first and the last year of the decade and their complicity in the erosion of whatever rights they think were taken away.

    That's without reading it.

Someone who has the stomach for such tripe will have to tell me if I'm right or wrong. :wavey:

You are wrong. The entire power elite gets skewered in the article regardless of political stripe.

The article is a pack of misdirections, false implications, and outright lies!

This decade has been defined, in part, by the explosion of bold terrorism perpetrated by our enemies and our determined response to defend ourselves against it.

Hopefully, your eyes will be opened one day to what is really going on, my friend.

My eyes are wide open and I stay focused. The article is full of garbage and you're falling for it.

Dragoon, you and I are in agreement. The article mixes in just enough reality to try to feign credibility. When we cross into "shadow government" nonsense, it is time to grab those tin foil hats. Sorry Ken, you are buying into a paranoid worldview.

Bear in mind that I believe hardly anything you say. You have a reputation for being fickle; a believer in whatever is popular at the moment.

If Dragoon says it, I can take it to the bank.

I have to agree with you. I do believe there are those who are trying to work as a shadow type government. But their influence is minimal at best.

    Lie # 1:

In order for there to be war there is nothing that says the exact words "We are at war" must be used. To give authorization for force is a formal declaration equal to such phrases.

    Lie #2:

In fact no shadow government "stepped out" and it is a silly assertion.

    Lie #3:

While I am not sure I agree with having a DHS this is not tyranny although it is most likely not constitutional.

    Lie #4:

    Vague accusations misrepresent the truth.

    Lie#5:

"In October 2002 (the 107th Congress), both the House and Senate passed a resolution giving President Bush the authority to use military force in Iraq. The resolution noted Iraqi President Saddam Hussein’s possession of weapons of mass destruction (believed by many at the time, though ultimately proven false), continued hostility towards the U.S., and several other factors. As the resolution was debated, many amendments were introduced, and several received a floor vote."

    http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.ph..._the_Iraq_War_prior_to_the_2003_U.S._invasion

I could go on but there is no need. This is a fallacious propaganda piece form the tin foil hat brigade.

You are evidently well indoctrinated in the worldview of the neo-libs/neo-cons globalists, Pastor Mitchell, since you defend them so adamantly.

Now, that's the truth! It's plain to be seen that the Prison Planet site is just spreading lies to gullible followers. I don't think it does Ron Paul any good to have his name mentioned on such a site.

    Bolded mine

As a side note, RP lost credibility with me several years ago when he, in effect, gave a pass to the WTC jihadists.

Don't remember the exact terms he used, but he was somehow claiming that they (jihadists) were justified because of the actions of the US in mid-east.

In essence, according to him, "we brought it on ourselves".

I figure if that's his attitude toward the US, then we sure don't need him in any position of power - got enough of that ilk now in power!!!

You have the neo-lib/neo-con talking points down pretty well.

The gullible ones are the ones who are swallowing the neo-lib/neo-con worldview hook, line, and sinker.

You'll probably change sides again before too long. There's not much point in trying to convince you that your new found friends don't have the answers.

President Obama turing out to be a warmongering globalist just like George W. Bush was the last straw for me with the "relevance" supporting candidates of the two major parties, except for folks such as Ron Paul and Rand Paul.
