    Hi
Im training to to be a radiation therapist. Im finding the practical work hard because I get nervous when being tested/examined. Its a nervous thing. Problem for me is that if I fail this section of the course I wont be allowed to graduate with a degree and I wont get a job at the end of it. Lot of time, money and effort will come to not a lot plus I'll have no job and a family to support.
Can you pray for me please.

    thanks in anticipation
    Doug
    :jesus:is Lord.

Yes, we will pray for you!
Remember "I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthen me."
I would even suggest that you find a book in the library that will show you how to study and remember what you have read. This is only a suggest.

Remember, as you study your material for the test, pray and talk to the Lord asking Him to help you remember what is important and you will great on the test. I am not very smart, but He has helped me many times!:praying:

Dear All-Knowing-God, we pray for Doug who needs Your help to pass his test(s)
may he lean on You to help him remember what he has faithful studied. May he
find the joy of studying with Your help in Jesus' Name we pray.Amen:1_grouphug:

I've always had 'test anxiety' which can interfere with memory and clear thought. I don't know if this is what you're saying or if it is a true problem of learning the material....

Prayer has worked for me and sometimes having a good emotional release.... like a good cry before hand, in helping me to calm down and relax and do better on a test by remembering what I'd learned. I still do what I can to avoid tests.

But another thing which has helped.... after studying and preparing all I can: Is stopping to consider 'what is the worst that can happen IF I FAIL? Invariably, having to consider first..... what can be the 'worst'..... cancer, death, torture, death or the illness or loss of a family member or friend.... etc. And then.... are any of these events a logical consequence of passing or failing a test? And invariably, one does not logically mean the other. So I then realize "Well then, why do I let this upset me?" Of course the scripture as the one in posted in this thread "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!" and many others which regarding warfare, courage, 'no man is tempted beyond that....etc', ..... fear? 'perfect love casts out fear..... 'i am with you alway.... Remembering the small ship in the storm on the sea of Gallilee.... and the disciples fishing all nigh w/o success and Jesus directed their nets so the catch overfilled their boart.. and once again PRAYER. Course it never hurts to do all that you can to support your success..... like eating nutritious foods and getting proper sleep and exersize... and finding out what may work for you regarding your state of alertness and calm..... like a meal with some sugar, or milk, or stimulant such as coffee or chocolate, or high protein which doesn't make you sleepy and gives a slow release of energy... but no sudden sugar rush or drop. Sometimes sharing a partnership with another student to study and challenge each other with 'pretesting each other is also a good exercise.
..... That's the practical and the spiritual.

Will be praying for your success. Prepare well before. And then do whatever you can to relax and think clearly when testing. Sometime a brief moment of prayer during the test also helps.... commit the outcome to the Lord and determining to give him the praise. God bless and guide your success!
