Deal Reached on Taxing 'Cadillac' Plans

This is vote buying at its prime folks! If you're not a government worker or a union member then you get to help them out by paying their "fair share" of tax on "Cadillac" medical insurance coverage! What a deal! What a classic example of socialism at work! It's to be expected from the "great community organizer"!

Insurance should not be taxed at all.

Being a wholly owned subsidiary of big labor, the Obama administration will do whatever their masters say.

    It's criminal.

1950 - the "right" to an abortion would never be held up in court.

    We never know, do we?

And this surprises anyone? Especially since it is something from the very lips of King Zero HIMself? Blasphemy!!! :p

Now, everyone knows we will all be much happier if we would plug our ears, close our eyes, and smile while nodding like idiots... especially since the "powers that be" are going act like we are already doing it.

Remember what the liar said during the campaign: ""We'll have the negotiations televised on C-SPAN, so that people can see who is making arguments on behalf of their constituents, and who are making arguments on behalf of the drug companies or the insurance companies."

Would like to read your theory of taxation. What is your equitable tax plan?

Ever heard the old saying, "Can't get blood from stones?"

I read this morning the no tax part is only good till 2017 then everyone will be taxed, but by then the gov. plan will be in full force and all those previous cadilac planners will be moved to the gov. plan so the gov. plan has financing.

So you think that it is a good idea to tax people who have good medical insurance so that they will give it up because it will be come to costly to keep so that they will be forced onto a government plan that no one wants?

If you want the government plan why don't you just sign up for it and pay for it yourself and leave the rest of us alone?

Indications are they intend to keep moving the goalposts to help unions find a loophole so that they never pay the same tax others do.

The squirrels are running the show. Maybe some of us need to run for political office? Take some common sense to Washington?

My thoughts as well, but it would never work. Washington doesn't care about the people, and an honest man would end up dead, either politically or physically, if he were to try to force it to change.

Not sure why you would assume to know my position based on sharing of knowledge, but maybe the administration does a lot of assuming as well.

Just for the record I am not doing anything to you so I don't need to leave you alone, I already am.
