......would someone from another order disguise or misrepresent themselves to be a Baptist in order to become a member here on the BB and join in the debates? Is it something like a Blackfeet sneaking into a Crow camp at night to steal horses, you know, in order to gain or count coup? Then they go back and tell their stories with great hooplah? Do any members here do the same on other sites? (as if I'd get an answer to that)

I'm pretty naive and simple-minded on some things; this one I don't understand.

People go into forums that are contrary to their beliefs for different reasons. Usually it is to cause trouble, post beliefs contrary to the beliefs of those forums, and then (as you said) go back to their usual Web site and tell them how they were misunderstood, persecuted for trying to write the "truth", and to tell everyone there how wrong we are and how unloving and judgemental we are simply because we disagreed with them. They can then feel like a martyr who has been presecuted for their beliefs--however non-scriptural those beliefs are.

Maybe on other sites they don't have the thrill of the debate like we have here? You know, there is a world of Variableness amongst the Baptists. Outside looking in, they could actually long to do what we do. If they think they could actually persuade anyone of their beliefs; boy are they mistaken!

Yeah. On the RCC debate threads there are those that could be/are accused of, being Catholic imposters on this site. It seems to be spontaneous on their part. If that's the case, they must keep a close eye on this site and desire to interject when they feel the need to.

Ill be honest. I went on a Jewish board to have some discussions but it went really bad because I couldnt help but to state my beliefs and they hated me for it. Im not going to say if it was right or not, but I tried to be civil. They were really mad when somehow we were talking about repentance and it was on their day of repentance I think Yom Kippur. I really dont know if my motive was to learn or witness, probably both.

So if other religions come here to learn and spread their beliefs Im not sure if it is any different or why it would be wrong unless they were disrespectful in the process.

I think he was talking about some who have "misrepresented" themselves in order to post in here.

Thanks for sharing Zach. Your motives weren't 'evil', I've no doubt of that. I doubt very seriously if their motives are 'evil' either. Rather, it's a desire to defend their faith; and maybe there's a game in it too. But nothing to send someone to hell over.... :)

those that came here misrepresented themselves and said they were baptist, they outright lied inorder to be able to post in the baptist only forums, and cause trouble. I read in the link posted one of the threads where they were on their rcc board bragging about the toruble they caused here.
this is what the op is about I assume.

I knew who she was by the second or third post I read of hers, I don't know how long she had posted here until I saw her. I think when you've been around these boards long enough and see people come and go you get to know who they are right away. I spotted a troll a few months ago and knew who they were on their #2 post, got ran over by everyone for saying so. a week later they were banned for being a troll. there are people who come here to learn, and then there are those who come here looking like they want to learn when they only want to enflame and cause trouble.

its an opportunity folks... a chance to share the only true Gospel. maybe Christ is bringing them here to hear the truth... and be saved.

catholics are in the mystery babylon religion. they are the "mistress" and the harlot instead of the bride. its a false gospel. they murdered millions in the name of popery.

in the Bible, love for Christ is defined as... "obeying His commands..."

they do not obey Him, they obey the pope, priest and church... if they obeyed Him, they would run like helll from that cult.

remember they are surrounded by lies and deceit. not the truth of Christ... they are lied to over and over and they believe those lies unfortunately... they dont know the truth. you (we) may be the only person who will share the truth of Christ to them... so whether they are a troll, a plant, a liar or whatever... share the truth of Christ with them and hope they find the truth of Christ and will repent and have their names written in the Book of Life...
