How old is the earth

    For some reason God didn't consider it important enough to tell us how old the earth is--so it's never been an important issue with me.

    Distractions, distractions. It's an interesting subject but not vital to the Gospel. More of a Christian interest thing. You will certainly not be saved by believing in this area.

    Amen, and Amen! I liken it to the NT admonition of putting one's hand on the plow and looking forward. For some reason, we find unnecessary importance in not just looking back, but wanting everyone else to see the same thing then they look back. Scripture says that this attitude makes one unfit for the Kingdom.
