Just a few weeks ago, Disneyland reopened one of its classic attractions, Great Moments with Mister Lincoln". It recreates Abraham Lincoln, delivering a message in his own words. The new show is absolutely stunning, patriotic, respectful, and incredibly reverent. This is a show that everyone must see, especially grade school kids.

    Check it out for yourself:

Lincoln destroyed the last chance we had to establish the intent of the Declaration of Independence. It has been mercantile fascism ever since.

Some people can't help themselves - no matter what the topic is.

I haven't been to Disney for about 15 years - since when the kids were little.

I had to drag my wife there even back then.

Getting her to go now would be impossible.

I'm hoping to have a chance at it again when we have grandchildren. :love2:

The Mrs and I are annual passholders. I highly recommend it. We often go on Friday or Saturday evenings for a date night. They also have swing dancing on the weekends, and we enjoy a little east coast swing when we have the chance. Some of the 20 years olds swing dancing make me look like a rank amateur. They're quite fantastic.

Anyhoo, "Mr Lincoln" was one of the attractions Walt Disney built for the New York World's Fair. It has been shutterred for the last 5 years, and it needed a fair amount of work back then. To see it back in place with new high-tech audioanimatronics and digital audio technology has been long-awaited.

Does the Disneyland attaraction give the full story of Mr. Lincoln?". Or as Pual Harvey would say "and now, the Rest of the Story"
