What grace did these folks have, that caused them to believe?

Hey James, good to see you make an appearance occasionally. And quite a nice grenade to throw into the room to herald your arrival, eh?

I think the answer to your question is, yes.

    Hello Tom

    I agree. :)

    As to my popping in...

I have been busy on a few projects. Another book is in the works.(A Pure Love)..and still more newspapers LINK to write for. Also I started writing for the Examiner as the National Calvinist (Calvinism Examiner). LINK

That on top of pastoring a church, .....planting a church, ...LINK and working with my Son-in-law as he Reforms his church (LINK) (Matt..just embraced the full doctrines of grace in the last two months). God is working great in WV.

Acts 18:27 When Apollos wanted to go to Achaia, the brothers encouraged him and wrote to the disciples there to welcome him. On arriving, he was a great help to those who by grace had believed

Grace is unmerited favor. The unmerited favor they received was the gift of faith following regeneration.

There is "salvific grace" which brings a person to salvation and "enabling grace" which enables a Christian to endure suffering/persecution for the cause of Christ in the world.

    peace to you:praying:
