Unfair. Since the tea party is not a formal body, they don't have formal, codified positions; however, several excellent ideas are espoused by this group.

Understandably, this bothers leftists/statists; making money is considered evil to them...and they are disturbed that these folks have more traction than they do. Of course, you'd rather them be censored by the government. Any excuse will do: "hate speech," "dangerous viewpoints," "fairness doctrine," and many more. Thankfullly, at this point, we still employ basic free speech rights in this country, much to your chagrin.

Of course, leftists constantly harp on this one. Usually, it's a thinly-veiled attempt to play the "racist" card...since that's been an old stand-by, and it's a charge that doesn't have to be true to do damage. It is ignored by the leftists that many of the values the movement longs for are values that once characterized our country, but no longer do.

This charge coming from an MSNBC fan, I find this one laughable. Oh well, you and Keith Olbermann can believe it.

This is where crabby's blatant intellectual dishonesty takes over (I find him to be one of the most dishonest posters on the board). This is a guy who constantly quotes left-wing sources (often in a post-and-run manner), but yet wants to indict Fox. Physician, heal thyself.

 

Better watch out. C.T.Boy thinks it's un-Christlike to question his honesty.

The "old America" still exists? You gots to be kidding. Everything changes. It is an old philosophical problem. Today you watch the water in a river. Tomorrow you watch the river. Is it the same river? The same water? (depends upon how many cows up stream are peeing into it?)
