from this list of mostly WASPS by eliminating all mention of white, black, and hispanic people from this thread. I propose that historically, Chinese, Japanese, and Indian People have been equally been disliked by white Americans.

There is no "race card" involved if white people compare Chinese and Japanese political and social differences. And there are BIG differences! The biggest is that the Japanese people traditionally respect and trust their government but Chinese people traditionally hate and distrust their government.

This, I believe, is why Chinese old cities are filthy but old Japanese cities are squeaky clean. The Japanese people want to put their best foot forward but Chinese people don't want anyone to know that they have a best foot. One can see this effect inside the US. Japanese neighborhoods are neat and the old Chinatowns are trashy, especially the alleys. The Chinese people can have lots of money and it can be fancy inside their apartment but the facade looks grungy.

I worked in Seattle's International District for 15 years. When a Japanese business person had a police problem he would take it up with the mayor or city council. The Chinese people want to handle things at the lowest possible level with their beat cops.

The similarities is their respect for old people and their respect for education. Their kids earn the majority of the school awards and one expects the professional people and government representatives to have oriental names. 50 years ago it was all Swedish, Norwegian, and Italian.

It is more satisfying than spending time hating our president, hating the ACLU, hating everything that isn't like myself.

    Speaking of hate...

There certainly seems to be no shortage of nationalities that you look down upon for no more reason than their origins and your biased beliefs about "those" people.
