This veteran makes a lot of sense. It's worth listening to the whole thing.

Can you comment on what he said in the video? His views on evolution, or his Buddhist religion are not the issue. I also agree that life is precious. Wouldn't you?

    Also from his blog:

BTW, thanks for the link to his blog. He has some very interesting articles on there.

How are you seeing my posts? You made a special point to say you were putting me on "ignore". To quote the Sen. Wilson, "You LIE!"

Seriously though, I can't blame you. I am quite an interesting fellow.

Sure Tea Party critic Al Alborn believes all life is precious, that's why he says his number one issue is:

Granted. But again, can you comment on what he said in the video? Let's not turn this into yet another abortion thread.

Let me take the stated mission:

"MISSION: The Coffee Party Movement gives voice to Americans who want to see cooperation in government. We recognize that the federal government is not the enemy of the people, but the expression of our collective will, and that we must participate in the democratic process in order to address the challenges that we face as Americans. As voters and grassroots volunteers, we will support leaders who work toward positive solutions, and hold accountable those who obstruct them."

and translate it to the real intention:

Silence the opposition to the pending health care legislation - or the next great liberal idea - by labeling them as not being "team players" and not working for the "good of the people" through activism by force of federal law!

Surely most people are smart enough not to fall for this bull? Maybe not - Obama did get elected!

I believe that the framers of the Constitution recognized that the Federal Government could become the enemy of the people. That was the reason its Constitutional powers were so limited. Those limits were further restricted by the 1st ten amendments. Unfortunately the Federal Courts, the Congresses, and the Presidents have failed to uphold their oaths.

The 2nd amendment is a powerful weapon given the citizens to, in the worst case, guarantee that the Federal government did not become a dictatorship. The Tea Party movement is the peaceful reminder to the Federal government of the power of an aroused populace.
