Older than a loaf of bread, but younger than Moses.

Old enough to know better, young enough not to care.

My spiritual life is 70 years. Does anything else matter?

    Cheers,

    turning 59 too soon...:BangHead:

Older than I ever thought I'd be. Like Mickey Mantle said, "If I knew I was going to live this long, I'd taken better care of myself."

That's what I tell people: "I'm the same age as Jack Benny", but nobody knows who Jack Benny was or what I'm referring to.

Have you ever heard the Jack Benny episode where Groucho Marx tries to get him to reveal his age? It's one of our favorites.

If you really want to know, I'm Richard Petty's number + 1 (will be +2 in May).

    Thanks for that.

The hardest I ever laughed was at a Jack Benny gag. I laughed so hard, I pulled a muscle in my chest.

The joke was that Benny goes down to his vault to take out some money for a date, and he runs into Ed, the bank vault guard. (Bear in mind that this show takes place in 1945 and that one of the running gags on the show is that Ed is never allowed to leave his post.) Ed says to Benny, "So how goes the war?" Benny replies, "We won, Ed. It's all over." To which Ed says, "That's wonderful! What do you think they'll do with the Kaiser?"

    I am 72.

I know this because everything hurts, and the things that don't hurt don't work any more.
