As Few As Possible...

... if Americans don't go "jelly-brain" I would hope that none of the Dem's in the House and Senate are re-elected.:applause:

We've all heard about the backdoor deals and arm twisting. Arcuri stuck to his convictions and voted NO

I wrote the Congressman and commended him for his integrity.

 

Thank you for doing so. So often we fail to let them know when they get it right and only contact them when we disagree.

I'll just be glad when it's over so Ted Kaufman will quite spamming my inbox. Not only would I never vote for that knucklehead, I don't even live in his state!

 

I think the very liberal states such as California, & the New England states will likeley re-elect their candidates. There may be some others too. Overall, it will dependant on how angry the citizens are.

 

• A candidate in any state who should have the official title "the People's republic of..." Such as California, Vermont, Oregon--most of those guys are safe. Those constituencies have convinced themselves that out-and-out socialism (or worse) is the only solution. There is no, and can be no, common ground with these folks. It would not matter, ever, what a liberal candidate did. Too many brain-dead followers would vote for them anyway.
• Some reps that voted yes are facing such pitiful competition that even with their unpopular vote--they're going to hang on to their seat.
• Any candidate with a black Congressman in a majority black district is completely safe. They could be a serial child molester--doesn't matter. That constituency has a plurality of folks that vote race, no matter what--even if it violates conscience, common sense, and all manner of civility, morality, and decency. I can't think of a more disgusting trend in US politics than the complete and absolute blind allegiance of many in the black community that is totally race-based.

Those two types of "Public servants" being safe are what will make this election simply a big Republican gain--instead of a landslide of Biblical proportions.

Will there be a big shift in Congress? I think so...but not as big as some folks think, IMO. I don't have that much faith in American voters making intelligent choices anymore. And gerrymandered districts--particularly along racial lines--mean that death, voluntary retirement, or removal by outside entity is the only possible means to unseat a siting Feudal Lord...er, Congressman.
