I've heard commentators on all three of the above networks state that Obama will be going after Amnesty, and hopes to have it signed and law before the November elections.

That should provide him at least another 12 million [and counting] grateful votes...

(By the way, if you have cable television and can get "Russia Today", you will be interested in knowing that this Washington based Russian All News Network is 110% behind Obama and his plan and policies to socialize America)

I am attaching an earlier post that shows you how I see this amnesty thing and how I called it correctly after last weeks gathering of more than 150,000 Mexicans at a D.C. rally last Sunday, when the HC bill was passed.

I ask that you all reconsider reading the following two posts, dated 3/24/10. They are titled: "With Health Care Won, Amnesty for Illegals Will Follow" (by me) and "Predictions" (by windcatcher)

You will surely be enlightened, and enlightenment brings wisdom. Believe us, Obama has set up several key issues, and like dominoes, he is about to use his "new-found power" to topple them one-by-one. With these issues going down, so will the America you have all grown so complacent with.

    Shalom,

Gotta get em legal so they can get on the tax rolls and save Social security and pay for health care, oh yes and keep the socialists in power when they can legally vote.

Actually the number is being reported more in the 25 million area and I'd guess that is under the truth. A news report said that at the el paso crossing 80,000 a year just don't go home.

The wife is supposed to retire in three years but we are putting everything on hold. Told her today by then things could change drastically.

Didn't the great Ronald Wilson Reagan do the same thing?

Yes He Did, and That Was a Negative on His Legacy...

... you are right, and, to many Americans, this was one of the low-points of Reagan's presidency that historians are still trying to sweep under the rug in the Oval Office.

BUT, just because he did this, DOESN'T make it right! Let's never again make the same mistake... I say to Obama, please don't import an instant group of voters just in time for the 2010 elections... "man-up", and face the voice of America, without buying the votes of grateful illegals, who, by the way, knew our laws, and still came here!!!

..if he thinks he has half a chance he'll try it.

Thing is, we're surrounded with immigrants around here, legal and otherwise; by and large they tend to be a conservative Catholic sort of folk that don't cotton to the liberal antics demonstrated by the democratic party...I've been in discussion with some (YMMV) and they had some serious anti-homosexual rights opinions, especially when it comes to adoption issues...could be BO & Co hang themselves with their own rope.

The one big hole you guys are missing is that illegal aliens cannot vote. Sorry, but your bucket is losing its water.

All It Takes Is An Executive ORDER!!!

Hate to point out the holes in your dam wall MP, but, if the amnesty bill goes through, Obama could sign an Executive Order allowing them to vote... if not in 2010, no later than 2012, in time to secure him a second term.

Any man who would resort to the cheap tricks that helped to pas the Health Care bill, will do what is needed to get another 12,000,000 votes. It's a form of quid pro quo, with a south-of-the-border twist!

Runs in my mind it is federal law that you are given voter registration paperwork with getting a drivers license and I'd guess you need to check into it and prove illegals are not voting. In OR for sure they are farily sure many are due to the above - many many of them have gotten licenses here.

0ut of curiousity, have you read any of Adam Baldwin's blogs on this subject? For a Hollywood type, he's very insightful and speak to the problem as someone who's right in the middle of one of the largest populations of border criminals in the country.

((For those who may not know, Adam Baldwin is an actor best known currently for his role as Agent John Casey in the TV show, "Chuck".))

    No I Haven't...

... but, I'll take a minute, the next time I have one, to look up his writings. Thanks.

Maybe you disagree with amnesty, but what are we going to do with 12 million or so illegals here. Does anyone here think it would be possible to actually deport them all?

The question isn't whether or not it's possible, but whether or not we have an obligation to at least attempt to enforce the law.
