I tuned in to watch Huckabee on Fox tonnight for a few minutes tonight.

One of his guests was the CEO of H00ters. The CEO was featured on Undercover Boss a few weeks ago. Huckabee asked him if he felt the women employees thought being a H00ters girl was considered a sexist or degrading job. The CEO said no.

I think Huckabee should have been a bit more "Conservative"

    Your thoughts?

How would have a conservative phrased the question?

Back to to OP, I didn't see the show so maybe I shouldn't make a statement, but I hate to see anybody glorify hooters in any way, even by inviting the CEO on the program.

    But that's my opinion. :)

I still can't believe they get away with calling a resturaunt by that name, and advertizing it the way they do. I am not a Huckabee fan at all, and this vindicates that. Why would he give this company any kind of air at all ?

The poster you are addressing is not balanced. Something is wrong beyond mere attempting to get attention or trying to be so offensive he becomes a target.

Amy, you've done what you could.

I suggest we pray for him. :praying:
Replying to him will not fill the real need he has.:praying:

I do enjoy "Undercover Boss" but I almost decided to skip this one, though I'm glad I didn't. To quote Amy "I didn't see the show so maybe I shouldn't make a statement" by watching I can report first hand. I was very disappointed in Huckabee. As Amy said "...but I hate to see anybody glorify hooters in any way,..."

In addition the audience applauded at everyone the CEO and Huckebee said. Just curious how Glenn Beck, Rush or Hannity would have handled the interview.

To answer Stevens question - I would have pressed more on why he thought that a young lady in short shorts and a skimpy t-shirt was not degrading. I would have asked if he thought many men only came to see the H00ter girls. I would want to ask the male customers if they would have a problem with their wife or daughters walking around in a h00ters "uniform".
    How's that for starters?

I agree with you about what could have been asked.

I guess I misunderstood your original OP. I understood your question to indicate there was something "liberal" about what he did ask. I didn't see the show and didn't understand from the OP that he only asked the one question.

I like Huckabee, but if that was all he asked, I agree he could have done more. I will say from the times I have watched his show it doesn't appear he wants his show to be like Hannity's and be in your face. He always seems to want to show respect for who he invites as a guest. He probably would have been better off not inviting the CEO in this case.
