Obama's Promises Were Nothing More Than Vote Buying Lies

Yes, we did get suckered.

An honest politician . . . stays bought when you buy him. Who bought Obama? Not the people who voted for him. Does anyone think that the Democrat Party owns him? Or was he bought and paid for by the people who own BOTH the Democrat and Republican parties?

Was he bought (by the highest bidder) before he filed for office or after he won the election? Did someone whisper in his ear and 'splain him after the election?

For example, "When we start WW3, do you want us to save space for your family in our underground city?"

 

And so it continues.

The only question is what will he lie about next.

The answer is whatever subject he takes up.

Just an example of trying to downplay his habit.

 

Is President O'Bama considered a dignitary, like in the bible? And if he is, are we calling him evil and speaking evil of him? If he is indeed an enemy, are we blessing him like God says? Are we praying that the leader of our country will do well, no matter what? Is this love?

Just out of curiosity, were you as concerned about the continual attacks on George Bush?

I pray for Obama on a consistent basis. I don't run him down every chance I get. That said, when he lies in order to get votes he should be called on it. Being president doesn't put him above criticism. Daniel sharply rebuked Belshazzar despite the fact that Belshazzar had the rule over him. There are other examples of this in the bible.

 

This is nothing new. Completely old news. Politicians lie....yada, yada, yada.

While I am not buying into the alarmist hype going around, the funny thing is that many of my moderate friends looked to Obama as some kind of Savior, when in reality, he doesn't stand for anything they do, just a bunch of far-left strangeness.

If a leader is engaging in evil behavior, where are we prohibited in Scripture for calling that out? And is calling out sinful behavior, or unjust behavior, "speaking evil" of someone? It would seem to me that is more in line with "speaking the truth."

 

And this attitude is the reason so many dishonest people get elected to office.

 

Can an honest person honestly change his mind?
