Balanced Budget Amendment

    Would you support an amendment to the Constitution that would require the federal government to have a balanced budget? I would because it's time to move past the Bush/Obama legacy of huge budget deficits. I'm upset with Obama for not moving faster to balance the budget. I'm also concerned that his deficit commission will try to cut Social Security instead of cutting from other areas that we spend too much, like defense. I'm open to making some changes to Social Security, but that can't be the main line of attack to balance the budget. If Obama comes after Social Security, I'm going to have to pull out my angry chair. Barack Obama is such a mediocre President.

    You are incredibly naive if you ever expected Obama to balance a budget , cut the budget , or pay down the national debt.

    Huge economy killing tax increases are on the way.

    Obama is an economic moron.

    Exactly what do you all mean by a balanced budget? For example, Does a person who carries a mortgage on his house have a balanced budget.
