Pure fiction. It took me about 2-1/2 minutes to discover one huge error (there are certainly others but I stopped after about 3 minutes)--that Iranaeus believed Peter was never in Rome. Here is what Iraneaus said about the succession of the early bishops of Rome:
Iranaeus has a lot to say about Simon Magus and his distorted view of Christianity but never even implies that he came to Rome.

This is an interesting thought. Despite Zenas, Eusibius has a lot to say about Simon Magus. It was an accepted religion of Rome. They built a statue of him on an island in the Tiber and he had a great following. Comparing him to Mega Church evangelicals is an interesting thought.

I don't think Bruce is comparing Simon Magus to mega church evangelicals. Bruce, please correct me if I'm wrong on this.

no, not comparing to evangelicals, as much as i am shedding light on the beginnings of antichrist...

i am trying to shed light on the beginnings of the darkest, most evil beginnings of any false church that has existed since the garden of eden...

the world we live in is mostly oblivious to satan and his tactics... the Christian church THINKS they know Christ but are mostly in the dark...

its the same with the debil. the world thinks they know the debil and his evils but they dont...

we live in a world that is fooled by the debil.

    Revelation 12:9
And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

satan has the authority to give great power.

    Matthew 4:7-9
7Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

    8Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

9And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

if people will worship satan, satan can give them great power, and its authorized by God...

people do not realize the power of satan and that the whole world is deceived by him...

    so whats my point?

satan has a church. many churchs..not to mention, many churchs in his name.

the world thinks that the world religions are good... catholicism, buddhism, hinduism, rosicrucianism, jehovahs witnesses, etc etc...

they send people to hell. Jesus said, "if ye do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins..."

    John 8:24
I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

most are discreet (catholicism) and some are obvious (satanism)...
catholicism says that mary was sinless (the immaculate deception)... when they proclaim this, they deny that Jesus came in the flesh. Jesus HAD to come in the flesh, meaning was a man and able to sin, just like us, but He did not sin...

when mary came, supposedly sinless, than Jesus came unable to sin (like us), therefore denying He came in the flesh... satan is so sneeky... study below...

    http://biblelight.net/antichrist_and_jesus.htm

people need to understand that we live in world that is mostly deceived by satan... it is a prophecy of Christ and if we say the world is not evil, we deny Christ and His Word, by our own ignorance...
