Avery Willis has passed away

    I'm not sure if many have heard but Dr. Avery Willis went home to his reward this morning at about 5 am.

    His leukemia settled in and his health significantly degraded. He was at home with his family when he passed away.

    I am sad to lose this amazing servant of God. His work in the SBC for missions and passion for people will long outlive his earthly life. I am thankful for his spirit, humility, and desire to serve God.
