Obama's Point of No Return

I will agree that this guy is not equipped to run the USA, he is simply pathetic as a leader of this great nation. I will add his very inept handling of all reform & regulation of those crooks on Wall Street from the SEC's handling of both the Alan Stamford & Bernie Madeoff Ponzi Schemes, to the massive bonus's for under performing bank executives & that AIG mess to ineptly handling the BP Oil Spill situation in the Gulf. To add insult to an already beleaguered main street, Obama-Nation has not moved to enact any strong legislature preventing or at least limiting Fat Cat Politicians from taking jobs with rich lobbyists who colluded with them in the 1st place. He is enabling Wall Street & the politicians to sell out our country while nearly 10% are out of work to improve the bottom line. Personally I am sick of the guy & America should be too.

 

Even though I lamb baste this President for his lack of leadership & all his terrible decisions, you do have to give him credit for attempting to lower taxes for Small Business to stimulate both jobs & growth. I have to ask those supporting the Republicans why they are voting No to that after you whined that Obama is doing nothing to stimulate the economy. Well?!?

Add the shooting down a bill that would assist 911 Workers & Volunteers & you have really got to wonder in any politicians care about the people in the street.

Seriously Im not looking as much about fixing blame as with identifying & fixing problems. America is great & unique in it's diversity, flexability, openness & inventiveness....everyone should be contributing to understand & fix or else we risk becoming Europe. God help us then.

 

Matt, I was very disheartened by the weak bank reform Obama & that wuss Geitner wants to put in place. If these politicians who are bankrupting America (and sending economic recessions to Europe) by colluding with Fat Cat Wall Street Bankers can leave office & immediately obtain jobs with wealthy lobbyist or an SEC watchdog officer can leave his job & get a job with the likes of Bernie Madoff then the "Fix is In & the Game Is Rigged"

They have now crippled our American economy, wrecked havoc in other countries, caused 10% of the workforce to loose their jobs & here is the biggest cause for concern. Nothing is being done to prevent the ongoing & future theft.

HERE IS A POSSIBLE SOLUTION

Cool your heels for seven to ten years

The revolving door from politics to corresponding positions of undue influence in the private sector has to be stopped. There needs to be a seven year cooling off period for all Politicians, staffers and regulators from working in any related industry or lobbying their former colleagues.

While this might sound draconian, ask yourself, do you really think we are getting high quality public servants with the current incentive structure? I am betting we will get much more capable public servants once we hinder their ability to get rich off of their service.

 

I believe this is going to happen anyway because Obama & the Democrats are suffering at the polls so Barry will have to do something to restore confidence. He would be insane not to

 

I also do not like President Barack Obama for appeasing China on the Currency irregularities. We will need to stand up (Meaning The Obama Administration) to China & pass some type of Currency Reform that will allow for fair trade. President Obama, please put some value in the currency!

While your at it please provide some assistance to the over 8000 small regional banks that dont have enough capital to stimulate the economy because most of it went to restore the big bonuses on Wall Street.

The country, and American Christians in particular need to know that Barack Obama is Wall Street's President & to heck with Main Street.

Say again???????? I don't understand what you want. This proposed legislation would do exactly what? How should the US force China to devaluate its money?

 

OK Bill, but 1st do you totally understand what China is doing with Currency Manipulation & Denying America access to free trade?

Thats an important key to this whole thing & I dont think most are aware or have researched it. Perhaps I am wrong. Please advise

Here is what Obama & Company should do to stop China Currency Manipulation & Stimulate Free Trade.... If he had any guts.

China subsidizes exports by selling its currency, the yuan, for dollars at artificially low values in foreign-exchange markets, making Chinese goods artificially cheap at Wal-Mart. The U.S. government should tax dollar-yuan conversions at a rate equal to China's subsidy until China stops manipulating currency markets. That would reduce imports from, and increase exports to, China.

 

Depression is a comming!

Within 6 months to one year we will be in a depression. I am on the streets of lower Manhattan almost daily & hear this. Another prediction is that unemployment will double within the year.

The reason is no real reform of both the banking & Trade industries which is slowly bleeding the American Taxpayer dry. So if you have not been touched by this economic downturn, you soon will be & with global ramifications.

Here's some advise from a great grandfather that survived the last one. Take all your money out of the banks, buy a farm somewhere in some remote dirt poor area & live off the land.

Get used to it also. Any growth we may have sustained over the years do to innovation is gone & lost forever. We have shipped it to China & Asia. Within a year, the hard times will be upon you.
