How many (one way) trips to you make to church in a month. For the purpose of this poll, we will consider the month to be February - 28 days - exactly 4 weeks.
and - if you go to church Sun AM and PM, that would count for two trips
count all trips whether for yourself or your family - ie kids
Note: do not consider special services such as week long revivals

Do you think you can be too active in church? How many days a week would it become excessive?

Actually, it would be in the vincinity of around 60. I go twice a day, Mass in the morning and Rosary/Benediction in the afternoon. It is why I moved to this wee town in New Zealand. Putting the fun back into fundamentalism I guess.

No, how can it be excessive when you are God-centric rather than world-centric?

When you become ego=centric instead of God-centric. There are somne folk that are at church everytime the door is open so they don't have to deal with the reality and responsibility of home.

Back to the OP. I am at the church building exactly four times a month. We rent the auditorium at the local high school. How many trips to the church? Oy vey! I can't even begin to count.....

I go there every day (I'm the pastor!). I make 2 or 3 trips on most days. That's 60+ trips. There wasn't a number for that.

I'm at church (between the two churches) at least once on Sunday (we don't have a Sunday evening service), Monday we're off, Tuesday is play practice for the kids so that's 4 trips unless I happen to have some work to do like today, Wednesday is meetings in the morning and Family night at night so that's another 4, Thursday I don't always go up to church so I won't count that, Friday is the day I work at church so I'm there all day, Saturday is play practice and sign language class so that's another 2 trips. That's 14 trips scheduled. Of course there are numerous times I have to run up there that are not scheduled for whatever reason. :)

Once every Sunday morning, once every second Monday night for ASL Bible Study, plus usually once each month for a social activity with my Care Group = 7

Didn't realize it was that often, but for our entire family it adds up to about 25 trips per month -- once you include youth group, children's choir, Bible Study Fellowship and other activities.

When it causes your family to suffer.

One could theoretically neglect the family by taking on too many responsibilities.

In order to serve God fully, we must take care of our families.

Actually, I would have to go with Father Durand on this one. The church I attend rents, and we have the service at the rented facility once a week on Sundays....

On the other hand, when ever I meet with other Christians, I am tripping with the church.

You are correct in that we must attend our duties of state, that is the right and proper course of things. I have witnessed this where a family suffered financially because of misplaced zeal.

I make about ten trips to church in a four week month. Four Sunday AM services, four Thursday PM choir rehearsals, and normally about two more trips for Sunday or Wednesday PM services.

I used to work at a church, and I would at minimum be there what seemed like every day.
