A testy U.S. Sen. John F. Kerry yesterday blamed clueless voters with short attention spans for the uphill battle beleaguered Democrats are facing against Republicans across the nation

The real problem is the incredible arrogance of liberals.

Oh how I like it when Swiftboat Kerry opens his mouth. Open mouth and demonstrate why the dem's may very well lose the House come November.

I think Kerry's right. I know for a fact that I'm more intelligent and well-informed than the average person.

Yep, there are a lot of uninformed votes who now wish they hadn't voted for "change."

Even as young as you, are it's easy to tell you are a liberal.

Your arrogance is already showing, even with almost no accomplishments in your life.

I'm so hurt. Little Carpro doesn't like me. Boo-hoo.

I'm more talented, intelligent, and capable than you could ever hope to be. There's nothing arrogant about stating the fact that most Americans tend to be ignorant about politics and current events and I'm not.

I know as an absolute fact that I'm much more intelligent than the average person. God has gifted me intellectually in ways that He hasn't gifted almost all other people. When I was six years old I taught myself how to use MS-DOS on my grandfather's old computer by reading DOS for Dummies by Dan Gookin. I still have 5 1/4" floppy disks with files that I made, on my own, in WordPerfect in 1996. I know I read a legal book on the Uniform Commercial Code in elementary school and it sparked my interest in law. I know what it's like to be a student at Fort Caroline Middle School in a gifted program and still be ahead of the entire class. I know what it's like to get up and go to work in the morning and probably not meet someone who's as smart as I am all day.

I know for certain I'm more intelligent than well over 99% of the population. Because I have love for my fellow man, I want to use my superior intellect to help people. That's why I'm drawn to law and to the civil service. That's why I'm a liberal. It's all about love and helping people. :love2:

Thank you for using your remarkable intelligence to find a cure for cancer.

Oh wait, you didn't use your remarkable intellegence to become a doctor and find a cure for cancer, you became a lawyer, instead. That way, you can use your remarkable intelligence to..... practice law.

Oh, thank you, thank you. What a noble creature you are. Always thinking of ways to help the less fortunate with your knowledge of the law.

Thank you for using your superior intellect to help those less fortunate folks that you meet all during the day when you say to yourself "I know for certain I'm smarter than that guy", or "That woman isn't nearly as smart as I am." "God has blessed me with a superior intellect. I'm smarter than 99% of the people on the planet and it's not boasting to say so... because I really am that smart. Why, I remember reading a legal book on the Uniformed Commercial Code when I was in elementary school, and I was at the top of my gifted class... in middle school."

Since you didn't boast about being the at the top of your class at Havard Law, your elementary and middle school exploits must be the highlights of your academic career?
Since you're a liberal, I suspect your stated motivations are disengenuous at best.

    peace to you:praying:

Here is where they started you down this path of self deception.

By making this statement alone you prove it to be untrue.

Targus, that post was satire. Chill out. I know my writing was dry, but I thought it would be over-the-top enough to clue you in. This reminds me of the thread I started about the "pentagrams" in the Republican Party logo and some people took me seriously.

    Thank you for that!!! :love2:

The problem is what you wrote is how the elite liberal political hacks like Obama, the Clintons, Kerry, Edwards, et al think of themselves - above the public and better knowing of what is good for us then we know for ourselves.

    Pride before the fall?

I don't know how intelligent you are , but you are decidedly less well informed than most of the posters here.

And using the above post as a gauge, youy are decidedly less intelligent than you think you are.

But then, self delusion is the panacea of liberals.

    One is a blood-sucking parasite......

....the other is an insect.

Claiming to be top of the class at Ft. Caroline MS is like claiming to be the fastest runner on a team made up entirely of paralyzed people.

Ft. Caroline MS stunk as a school when I went there over 20 years ago and was only worse the 6 months ago or so when you went there...

This HAS to be tongue-in-cheek, but I'm going to respond anyway.

The classic difference between a liberal and a conservative is that a liberal considers himself elite, and a conservative knows that the ideas of justice and fair play are easily discerned by the average person.

They do have one thing in common, tho: they both think less fortunate people should be helped using the conservative's money.
