Seems like if a Christian was what I was taught they are, all of them would want to show me the error of my ways since I left that religion.
    Just wanted to know.

    thanks

First of all, Christianity is not a "religion" it is a relationship with a person - Jesus Christ, whom himself is God as well as the Son of God.
In another post you stated that you are part of the The House Of Yahweh

I found this CBS report. Would you say there is anything false in the report?

I am just wondering what led you into a group like this?

Please don't be coy. We have asked some legitimate non-threatening questions of you. Why won't you answer them?

You already know what Baptists believe. There are thousands and thousands of posts on this very board about what we believe. In the other thread you started, you were given sincere and honest answers.

Tthere are quite a few folks here who are quite willing to show you the error of your ways, but first you have to tell us what your ways are.

No, you do not need to be a Christian to ask questions here but I have yet another question for you:

What is your purpose on being an ex-Baptist and posting here at Baptist Board?

I have a question for you. Why do you listen to a person who prophesied falsely of a nuclear war not once, not twice, but three times already? I just do not understand why people will follow a false prophet.

Also, why does your group say you believe the bible but you really don't? You claim that you are the re-established true religion of God. Jesus Christ said He would build His church and the gates of hell would not prevail against it. You claim that Jesus was killed because He openly used the name of God. The bible says the reason was because He claimed to be the Son of God, although it was for envy the chief priests delivered Him up. You claim He became the Son of God at His baptism, whereas the bible says He already was the Son of God. Gabriel said "he shall be called the Son of the Highest," not become the Son of the Highest. You claim that Jesus will return to earth to prevent humanity from ultimately destroying themselves. The bible says He will return to judge the earth and will destroy the wicked from His presence. You claim that Jesus didn't exist prior to His incarnation. The bible says otherwise. His goings forth have been of old, yea from everlasting. He existing in the beginning with God and was God. He appeared in human likeness at points in the OT.

These are the the same question I had before I left the Christian religion.
I would count it a great blessing from Father Yahweh to be able to answer all your questions.
The thing that would please Satan is for us to us to fight and feud with each other and never come to the knowledge of the truth.
So, may I ask you are you willing to let the Scriptures be the rule and guide for what we should believe?
If so then as the Scriptures say the TRUTH will make us free.

My ways are to live by the EVERY WORD of Yahweh found in the Hebrew Scriptures.
    Not man traditions.
Are you willing to do the same?

    After a honest search of the Scriptures and history I found that as a Baptist I was following the Catholic Church in worshiping on Sunday and not keeping the Sabbath that the Scriptures state we MUST keep;

    First Christianity is a religion.
Would you please show me in the Scriptures where the Messiah was the Father?
Do you know how many of the Hebrew prophets warned you that the Christian religion would be used to deceive the whole world?
Do you know that all the prophets used the proper Name of the Creator and the proper Name of the Messiah.
That the names found in most translation have removed the very Name that has Salvation in it?

    Are you?

Here's what Jeremiah said of prophets: "The prophet that prophesieth of peace, when the word of the prophet shall come to pass, then shall the prophet be known, that the Lord hath truly sent him." (Jer. 28:9) There were false prophets proclaiming peace when there wasn't going to be peace, saying that God would break the yoke of Babylon when God was going to give the entire city over to Babylon. Jeremiah's message is basically this: the proof is in the pudding. Why do you trust a prophet that prophesied of things that didn't come to pass, not once, not twice, but three times? If he had been sent by the Lord, truly what he had prophesied of would have come to pass.

Are you ready to take these words of scripture?

"But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you that that ye have received, let him be accursed." (Gal. 1:8, 9) The gospel Paul preached was firmly set against the legalism that your group advocates. The preachers of your movement are preaching another gospel. Why are you a member of this group when it is in violation of scripture?

That sabbath was typical of gospel rest. If you would read the scriptures you would realize this. Instead, you'd rather spend your time telling other people they are following man's traditions rather than the gospel.

Can you be sure that Hebrew was the original language used by Adam and Eve? There was a confusion of languages at Babel. If Hebrew wasn't the original language, then the Hebrews names for God you place so much emphasis on are not the names man originally called God by. How can you be sure you have the so-called "proper names" for God?

Such is legalism. It always erects an impressive house built on a foundation of sand. It looks good until put to the test.

So the apostles in Act 20:7 and the Christians in I Cor 16:2 were sinning?

The OT law says we must worship on the 7th day of the week. Scripture holds that the OT law is a shadow (Hebrews 10:1), something no longer in force now that the perfect has come. Thus to worship on Sat vs. another day is not longer in force (Rom 14:5).

So I have a question for you. Do you do ALL that the Law requires?

No one has warned you? Certainly they have. After a certain point one must "brush the dirt off their feet" and leave it be. Desiring to warn does not equate to "continually warn after the person has made clear they aren't interested in hearing".

The word of Yahweh is also found in the Greek Scriptures, starting with Matthew and ending with the Revelation. I will seek to live by them as well. Will you?
