Write/Copy your own Bible! The Journible

    That's the link to Tim Challies' blog post about these new "Journibles". It's a journal kind of book with the Bible verse reference at the top of the page and the verse numbers down the lined page but YOU are to write in the text. On the opposite side of the page is a place for your own notes.

    It's an interesting idea. I know I learn MUCH better by reading AND writing and this is kind of what I'm doing on my own right now. I can see it being an interesting devotional tool. What about you??

    For a pastor preaching through books of the Bible I could see this as being a unique tool. Also, for personal study and edification this could be useful. I love the idea. I think I might order one. I was surprised at the reasonable price.

    How about just use a spiral notebook? They're a lot cheaper.

    I've done this for a while... This IS a good study technique!

    I think what's nice is that you end up having a nice volume to keep. A spiral notebook doesn't look as nice. :)
