Our family NEVER misses Hee Haw. We watch it every week.

Stringbean and Don Herron were my two favorite stars on the show.

I don't know how many people realize it, but Archie Campbell actually sang during the early episodes, and he had a terrific voice.

When I was a kid, I actually got to meet some of the stars when they came to our town as part of a travelling revue made up of stars of the show. I've still got a picture of me and Ronnie Stoneman and Grandpa and Ramona Jones.

I think Cathy Baker was the first girl I ever had a crush on. Either her or Maggie Peterson, but that's another show.

We also like the Porter Wagoner Show, The Marty Stuart Show, the Wilburn Brothers Show, and all of the other great family shows on RFD.

:laugh: Too cute! I now have this peculiar vision and wonder if you blew up the picture and put it on the wall over the banjo stand.

    Just kidding...

Actually, I did and I have it in my library/studio.

By the way, my favorite Junior Samples line is, "I want you to know that I stand behind every car I sell. That's because none of them run in reverse."

Don't forget Family reunion. I enjoy RFD.

I'm sure you have notices that the Marty Stuart Show is about as close as one can get to the Porter Wagoner Show. He has even had on a few guest who had appeared on Porter's show.

    Yeah, I watch that sometimes.

His show is modeled after the Porter Wagoner Show.

We love Leroy Troy (as you probably already guessed by my excitement over the Ronnie Stoneman and Grandpa Jones photo).

I remember one bit where Junior was laying around chewing a straw and someone says, "Junior you are the laziest man I've ever seen".

    - Junior - "Say that once more and I'll punch your nose".

    - "Alright. You are the laziest man I've ever seen".

Junior starts to get up but decides it's just too much trouble.

Junior - "You can consider your nose punched."
