    Hi All,

Just a thought on the 493th anniversary of the 95 Thesis. Would Luther have posted a letter to us today concerning the abuses of the visible church? Would he have been discusted with the prosperity preaching and shallowness of faith in most Christians. I would like to sit Luther down in front of TBN for 24 hours and get his thoughts. I believe he would be as discusted with us today; for many have hi-jacked Christianity just as they did in the 16th century. What are your thoughts on what Luther would say today?

I believe that any man or woman that holds to the absolute truth of God's word and is seeking to live without compromise would be both disgusted and sorrowed at the current church in America. :tear:

While Luther was at war with the abuses and false teaching of the papcy and visible church of his day, his biggest problem is STILL our biggest problem.

When a former pastor I had, preached out of Phillipians he mentioned that a problem we have is "I problem"

Luther would be aghast at the state of the church and the lack of church participation in the State.

Then, he would head down to the local micro-brewery to round up a bunch of young theologians to drink and discuss...
