It's finally here. Who will you be casting your vote for?

For me, this year is an easy call, I will vote a straight Democratic ticket! Living in Texas it's pretty much a forgone conclusion that the republicans will win most races, but I will still do what I can to see a few democrats voted into office.

Heard at the breakfast table this morning when I was eating with a number of Europeans ........

"American politics ... God's experiment with humor."

Voted (already) against every incumbent in national offices.

Other than that I spread my votes around for candidates I know, have learned about, and supported in state and local.

You know the ironic thing is that the most important races, the ones that really matter are those of the state and local level. That's the governing that counts. This national business is foolishness.

I am independent and have little use for either party. However since we are currently under a two party system, which I hope changes, I have to go with those who have the greatest stand for moral values as low as the standard is today. Both parties are responsible for the fix we are in, but the Democrats are clearly leaning to socialism and murdering the un-born so I simply cannot stand for that.

Pro-life or not, I'm not voting for any demoncrat today OR anyone else who is a rubber stamp for Obama.

I plan to vote for pro-life "new" blood and hopefully vote our current socialist bums out of office!

Anyone read about European politics lately? If we're God's idea of humor, European politics must be Satan's.

I voted Rubio for Senator, Buchanan for representative, Scott for Governor and voted no confidence in every judge on the ballot.

Lets see, you say you have no use for either party, but on the other hand, vote for the Republicans. Then you say, "socialism and murdering the un-born so I simply cannot stand for that" and blame the Democrats (which is true), yet you vote for Republicans who are just as socialist in their reign from 2001-2009. During those years, the abortion rate continued unabated, with a Republican President, Republican Congress, and a conservative Supreme Court. Oh yes, now that I think about it, you illogic makes perfect sense.

Have you ever hit yourself with a hammer because it feels so good when you stop?

Best post of the thread. The only part I disagree with is "alas." We need to rid ourselves of the Democrats and Republicans, and start over with two new parties where at least 10% of the leaders are honest.

I voted a few hours ago. I voted for four Democrats and two independents. The rest of the stuff was non-partisan.

I would love it if they were socialist.

I voted Meek for Senator, Stanley for Representative, Sink for Governor and yes to retain all of the judges because that's what the Florida Bar recommended.

The Florida Bar. You are going to take the word of Lawyers? I have a word that I'd like to share about that kind of thinking but I'd be banned.

Proof positive of God's mercy. If they could have with impunity, the Dems would have found some way to suspend it.

Are these the same Europeans who depend on America's wealth and power for their existence?

We should have stayed out of WWII and let Hitler rule them a little while longer.
