Wow, I wish him luck, it would be a great move for our country if he could move this forward, but those are some powerfull enemies he is making.

It would be nice if he could however i think congress will have an issue of trying to get anything accomplished especially with the differences with in just the republican party.

 

Paul will need to walk carefully. In our current precarious condition, all it takes is for one or two of our major investors to call in their loans and our bubble pops completely, sending us back to the dark ages.

There is no "real" money out there. Hasn't been, well, forever. The true wealth of any land is contained in what it has and produces, not what it says on a spread sheet. That is just "faith and trust" and if that faith and trust evaporates, all we have left is empty spread sheet boxes.

Even gold (i.e., the gold standard, holding actual gold instead of promissory notes, etc.) is of value only because people say it is. There is no real reason that it is valuable, apart from that it is easy to work and conducts electricity well, making it of some worth for utilitarian reasons.

If spread sheets, printed cotton, minted junk metals, and other forms of "wealth" pop, then what is left is what we can eat, what we can burn, and the stuff it takes to do both, which is the state of affairs for most of the third world. Daily activities are not consumed with adding or subtracting numbers from a column, but rather, doing whatever it takes to fill the belly for just one more day, and hopefully having the means to shelter that same body from the elements.

Sad day if and when America gets to that point. :tear:

 

I wouldn't be surprised if there is a story on an unfortunate fatal car accident involving Ron Paul. It wouldn't be the first time for someone questioning and imploring the god of our country (the FR)

 

Ron Paul has been a 'thorn in their side' for a long time now. His influence, and his message, will hopefully be more so felt/heard because of his son's position in the senate.

We'll see.

 

If Ron and Rand can keep educating americans about the Fed and what a criminal operation it really is maybe we'll get somewhere.

 

I just want it to be known that I am a big fan of Ron Paul.

Maybe he can also get the Congress to open bullion depository at Fort Knox too.

Methinks he might end up floating in the Potomac if he's not careful.

I doubt the Paul does much. The establishment republicans will continue to ostracize and ignore him while averting attention to some empty suit like Rick Perry, the do nothing governor from Texas, in a possible white house bid!

 

We'll see. I personally don't have great expectations. IMO, anything short of an eye opening soul searching revival from the Lord amongst His people is too little too late. It's the people that matter here, not just a handful of politicians/statesmen.

And, RP has been kinda sorta like a speck of pepper in an ocean of salt (or something along those lines) in the past. Maybe he will be taken note of and encouraged from the presence of his son and the influx of the tea partiers (I question the unity amongst them though). We'll see.

Is he your representative? Evidently he does serves his constituency.
