    Thanks, Ken.

That's 15 seconds of my life that I'll never get back.

BTW KEN, from here it looks as though you are ready to defend/excuse an accused rapist based on nothing more than your latest choice of group-think (Libertarians).

As a friend of mine said to me and others about 45 minutes ago, "If your freedom is of value to you then you must take the time to view this. If you are a slave to the state, you will consider it a waste of your time."

    1. I believe in the American value of innocent unless proven guilty.

    2. Check out the linked article in the first post in this thread: www.baptistboard.com/showthread.php?t=69030

So freedom to you is to illegally post classified government documents on the internet.

Tell me, Ken. If it is later shown that among the the reams and reams of stuff that this guy is releasing - that there is a single document containing information that is legitimately classified as secret due to a genuine national security concern - would you still be in favor of his actions - or would you want him to be tried for violations of law?

It would depend on how serious the information was. They haven't brought one forth out of the hundreds of thousands released so far.

So it depends on how serious the information is was...

Now you are putting yourself at Assange's level in considering yourself as competent to decide what information should or should not be classified as secret?

How would you decide what is or is not important enough to be classifed as secret when you have so little knowledge of other negotiations or events unfolding between our government and other governments?

Why would it have to be one piece of information in order to be important to national security?

Doesn't intelligence gathering also include taking large volumes of seemingly unrelated information and piecing them together?

How do you know that some other country does now not have their intelligence agency combing through all those hundreds of thousands released so far - putting together seemingly unrelated information - in order to understand some national security strategy being undertaken by our government that you have absolutely no knowledge or understanding of?
