Hey Gang. I’ve been keeping in contact with one of our posting member Jon Marc.

Recently He was living in Florida. This guy who was supposed to let him live in his RV somehow got in trouble and leaving Jon Marc to look for a new place to live. Things did not seem to promising in Florida although He was going to try to make some kind of arrangements.

He found out something in Southern California so He moved from Florida to there. Now Jon Marc thinks things are worse now in Calif than Florida. Between the severe weather and the prices He is stuck with what He did don’t know if He is going to make it out there.

Please pray for Jon Marc that God will help Him get back home. And Home is where Jon Marc can be safe to live and afford.

I told Jon Marc I’ll keep the members up to date on his whereabouts. Right now He is in Southern Calif. they are getting lots of Rain the cost is more than what He expected things to be. If anyone is willing to send any money to help I will get His address if anyone is able to help. He can use at least Prayers. If anyone has any good advice please write to my box and I will let Jon Marc know any advice you may have to help him out.

    Your friend RJ aka treb

I prayed for him. I believe he should move to a cheaper city/town.

It was not my idea to ask for money and I'm not. All I'm asking for is prayer. I made a big mistake, but then I've made a lot of those in my nearly 65 years. I'm not getting much wiser with all those mistakes.

The person who owned the RV I lived in in Florida filded bankruptcy and waited to tell me until after I asked him why I hadn' received a new payment book for his mortgage that I was paying with the agreement between us that the RV would be once paid off. I paid on it and lived in it for 5 years.

Since his name is on the mortgage and not mine, the bank would only deal through him. I expected a new payment book to be sent to him and for him to send it to me. I waited and waited and no payment book. I doubt that he would have even told me that he filed bankruptcy if I hadn't asked hima bout the payment book.

He said the RV was going to be repossessed. I knew from what I was told about ne man where I lived whose RV was repossessed that I would be given no notice that they were coming for it. They came and took his RV with all his belongings AND HIS DOG still inside. I think all he managed to get back were his clothes and dog.

I ahd to make hurried plans for fear of being cast out in the cold with no place to go. I suppose I should have trusted the Lord nore, but living by faith and trusting are not easy for me.

Even though I knew people here, they failed to tell me a lot of things I would have liked to know until I was alrealy moved here. Other things I found out on my own.

The cost of livng here is way out of my limited price range. The nearest place to do my grocery shopping is about 100 miles round trip. The nearest place to do my banking is about the same distance. The nearest doctor is over 40 miles round trip. The CONSTANT high winds make the already cold air seem colder.

So, all my asking for is prayer for God's will, and for me to do His will this time and not mine. No one ever said I was intelligent.

As stated, he never asked for help himself, his friend did it out of justified concern.

And I agree. While he didn't request it for himself, help can definitely be used no matter what his final decision, which he is still deciding and we need to be in prayer for so that something is made clear.

Since our plan in the other thread was to figure out how to help, we know that

    1. He needs prayer and lifting up.
    2. He obviously has some needs that some of us can help with. Those exact needs will become more clear after he has had time to pray and decide where exactly he'll go and how he'll get there...ie by car or selling the car and taking other transportation, etc..

In the meantime, do as God leads you! Praying people still need the basics and it would be cool if people could help make this time of year a little cheerier for him, and those more blessed can consider helping him later with the means to be able to get to where he will need to go.

I probably sound a little over-zealous to some but hey, been there, done that, and God took me through it and put the right people in the right place at the right time and things worked out so amazingly that I am filled with joy at the prospect of watching God work this out for our brother! And he works through people, and we're his people, and that's exciting, isn't it?! :wavey:

God bless you. We all learn from the challenges we face...when we truly submit. we all have those testing moments. Let us submit today. Let fear be overcome by faith, patience be strengthened by prayer. Hold on...submit and endure...and wait on the Lord...
