Now’s your chance to make a commitment toward better health starting January 1, 2011. What will it be?

Good for you! Your right about using it or losing it, we just finished a study on geriatrics and gait patterns and those which maintain a walking program have a far better quality of life because of being more mobile, the statistics from this study are staggering.

My resolution is to gain more weight. Since I always break my resolutions, I figure this time I will lose weight.

Me and my wife have both committed to eating better. Which for me means cutting out the chips and chicken wings. We've also both been working out more. Which reminds me I'm suppose to be joining my wife downstairs now!

My goal is to get back into my Army unifiorm for Armed Forces Day Celebration - in May. To do that I need to get down to 259 pounds - which means I need to loose 35 pounds.

I will do that by cutting out seconds and junk food.

Also, the pastor and I have challenged our church to give to the Annie Armstrong Home Missions offering by the amount of weight we loose - that goal is 20 pounds each.

That's not too bad. I would have to lose over 80 lbs to get back into my AF uniform that is hanging in my closet. :(
