Yes, trully awesome. I did not listen to all of the videos, but I thought the Street Healing with Tom Fisher was exceptional. If you listen to this one, do not be turned off by the young man's language at the beginning of the video. What happens after the healing is really cool.

I also like the video Be the Church. Every Christian should watch this video once a month.

    Thank you for sharing.

    Uh, naw:

"2009,2010,2011 God is gonna do this, God is gonna do that.." I pray God's children wake up and smell the Holy Spirit and realize that God is the one waiting on us to take Him at His word, And be Active (ACTION) in LOVE and Faith loving men, and kicking devil booty. My God already did His part, we're the ones who need ...

Speaking evil of the devil like that when not even an angel would bring a railing accusation against one? What does Scripture say about that?

That's unscriptural. It's also an indicator of a false teachers demeanor.

Signs are no proof it's from God. At all. And I believe God can do anything, I also believe what God says about false teachers who talk this way.

Smell the Holy Spirit? Since when does the Holy Spirit speak of Himself? Why is there glorifying of the Spirit when His ministry is to Glorify Christ, and not speak of Himself? Hmmmm.

Note that this rubbish is being brought to kids which I find both abhorant & typical.

If you cannot rejoice when someone gets healed, you have a problem and sound like a Pharasee complaining about Jesus healing on the sabbath.

That kind of thing makes the heart weep and bleed with the desire to be real, but in all honesty it looks as bogus as a 3 dollar bill. :tear: I pray that the Lord is not dishonored by their false teachings and false healings.

It is obvious that I am old and out of touch with our younger folks.

    From the website:
No, God is not waiting on us. God is sovereign. This is similar to the old line some preacher thought was cute: God votes for you, the Devil votes against you, you hold the deciding vote. This is also not far from the Word/Faith heresy.

    Smell the Holy Spirit, indeed!

I have this vision of Jesus walking into my church. No doubt who he is. And we all start waving our arms and hollering, "Hey, Big Dude, c'mon in!"

Or, "Hey, Big Dude, how's your Daddy?"

Me, I'm going to be flat on my face, prostrate before the Son of God.

Sorry, I never got to the rest of the website. I bailed out after I read about the Big Dude.

Thank you Jesus for never changing and still doing your works through your followers, the same as your word said we would. Yahoo Jesus!

I'm just too old to enjoy seeing the work of God described with street language. It sounds a little like English, but it definitely isn't.

    I'm with you.

When everything is described as awesome, or "awsomer" in one place, then the terminology they use doesn't reflect what being awesome really is. Maybe they ought to look it up, and stand in awe of the Creator of the Universe. Or better yet, fall on their faces before hm.

Maybe Big Dude is better than referring to God as "my Shrink," as I heard once from a college kid who thought he was being really hip and relevant.

Yep. I bailed after reading the first paragraph. It's laced with heretical thought and irreverence for God.

    No need to delver further.

I have a 19 year old who would laugh at these guys. They are not honoring God, they're using Him. Bunch of nonsense.

14 Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice and addressed the crowd: “Fellow Jews and all of you who live in Jerusalem, let me explain this to you; listen carefully to what I say. 15 These men are not drunk, as you suppose. It’s only nine in the morning! 16 No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel [Joel 2:28-32]:

17 “‘In the last days, God says,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your young men will see visions,
your old men will dream dreams.
18 Even on my servants, both men and women,
I will pour out my Spirit in those days,
    and they will prophesy.
19 I will show wonders in the heaven above
and signs on the earth below,
blood and fire and billows of smoke.
20 The sun will be turned to darkness
    and the moon to blood
before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord.
    21 And everyone who calls
on the name of the Lord will be saved.’ (Acts 2:14-21; NIV 1984)

18 Then they called them in again and commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus. 19 But Peter and John replied, “Judge for yourselves whether it is right in God’s sight to obey you rather than God. 20 For we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.” (Acts 4:18-20; NIV 1984)

Yet in like manner these people also, relying on their dreams, defile the flesh, reject authority, and blaspheme the glorious ones.
But when the archangel Michael, contending with the devil, was disputing about the body of Moses, he did not presume to pronounce a blasphemous judgment, but said, "The Lord rebuke you." But these people blaspheme all that they do not understand, and they are destroyed by all that they, like unreasoning animals, understand instinctively. Woe to them! For they walked in the way of Cain and abandoned themselves for the sake of gain to Balaam's error and perished in Korah's rebellion. Jude v. 8-1 ESV
This is God's Word on such.

    What these enthusiasts said:

    "kicking devil booty." (blasphemy)

Sometimes their error is as plain as day. And then we have those who can't see it. Wonder what that means?

These people reek of false teaching in not only doctrine, but in demeanor.

    preacher4truth...

Then don't go to link. Instead, use your time to read in your new NASB Bible.

I'm not sure that "Kicking Devil booty" stoops to the level of blasphemy. However, it does illustrate a lack of understanding; it also shows some ignorance and arrogance.

I'm quite disturbed by the "Big Dude" comment. One needs to keep in mind that we're referring to the Creator of the universe...a completely holy and righteous God.

The "Daddy" comment bothers me less...because I do think there's an idea of intimate Father/child relationship. vis-a-vis "Abba, Father." That one's kind of a "what's the context?" issue.

But all in all...I think you have a person who is so desperate to be listened to be listened to/admired, etc., that they are careless in their public statements and in their theology.

I agree. Unfortunately statements like this seem to abound in some Christian circles.

Again, I agree. I hope this is a case of a person just not understanding the significance of making such crude statements concerning our great God!

I know this is no big deal, but I always cringe when I hear it. I'm not saying it is wrong, I just don't like the familiarity connected with this term. It's just a personal thing, really.

I tend to believe it is someone who just has not been taught better, and in their zeal to witness use the terms they are accustomed to using.

I have asked the mods to review the need for the BB to exist anymore.

Robert Snow and Rbell have agreed twice within the same thread.

Since it is obvious that the Apocolypse is imminent...
