    I wonder who needs this?

    Hebrews 5:12
    In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God’s word all over again. You need milk, not solid food!

    When we are to do this?

    Hebrews 6

    1 Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death,[Or from useless rituals] and of faith in God, 2 instruction about cleansing rites,[Or about baptisms] the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. 3 And God permitting, we will do so.

    I don't know why, but I want to give this verse to!

    2 Timothy 4

    1 In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I give you this charge: 2 Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. 3 For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4 They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. 5 But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.

    Psalms109:31 Amen!!!

    Not to make what you said any better but I want to add:

    Heb 5:13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
    Heb 5:14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

    Peace and prayers

    In maturity we are to go on to practicing righteousness right?

    That we ought to be teachers, but we still need to be taught or as your translation you gave say's need to useth it, instead of going on for the teaching of righteousness and living righteousness, solid food.

    Hebrews 5:
    13 Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. 14 But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.

    I read these passages to mean that anyone who disagrees with me is spiritually immature.

    Oh.

    You mean it doesn't?

    Never mind, then.

    Love

    When I am talking about practicing righteousness I am not talking about righteousness from the Law, but righteousness that comes from our new heart to love God and others as ourselves.

    You are either practicing sin or practicing righteousness.

    Romans 13:8
    [ Love Fulfills the Law ] Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.

    Being a CHRISTian almost four years now, I'd like to think I can handle "meat" much better now, than in years past. But I do like a glass of "sincere milk" once in a while, too.

    With this "meat" come growth. Much like this passage here:

    2 Pet. 1:5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;

    6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;

    7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.

    8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

    9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

    10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

    So I see this a CHRISTian growth, as well. You start with faith, and then take off!!

    i am I AM's!!
