    And why should we care?

    by Tony Cartalucci

AlJazeera, CNN, BBC, and many more have flooded our TV screens showing us the passionate youth of Egypt struggling in the streets for democracy. Quotations, videos, photographs and narratives have moved people all around the world. Millions of Egyptians, it was claimed by AlJazeera, took to the streets on the "Day of Departure." BBC's Jon Leyne said it seemed as if "all of Egypt" had come to Tahrir Square. It was a glorious time to be alive for many, almost like living amongst the pages of a Hollywood script.

The protesters were depicted as superficially and as ambiguously as possible. We were told that the Muslim Brotherhood played but a small role in the protests and that the vast majority of them were secular, young, and craving "change." We were introduced to Nobel Peace Prize Laurette Mohamed ElBaradei, a man returning to his country after "standing up" to the United States during his time as director-general of the IAEA.

But, like a Hollywood script, after a terribly short, finite amount of time and brain numbing suspended disbelief, the credits begin to roll and we see who was responsible for the entertaining tale we just watched.

    cnn and psyops

    By Alexander Cockburn

Military personnel from the Fourth Psychological Operations Group based at Fort Bragg, in North Carolina, have until recently been working in CNN's hq in Atlanta.

CNN is up in arms about our report in the last issue of CounterPunch concerning the findings of the Dutch journalist, Abe de Vries about the presence of US Army personnel at CNN, owned by Time-Warner. We cited an article by de Vries which appeared on February 21 in the reputable Dutch daily newspaper Trouw, originally translated into English and placed on the web by Emperor's Clothes. De Vries reported that a handful of military personnel from the Third Psychological Operations Battalion, part of the airmobile Fourth Psychological Operations Group based at Fort Bragg, in North Carolina, had worked in CNN's hq in Atlanta.

De Vries quoted Major Thomas Collins of the US Army Information Service as having confirmed the presence of these Army psy-ops experts at CNN, saying, "Psy-ops personnel, soldiers and officers, have been working in CNN's headquarters in Atlanta through our program, 'Training with Industry'. They worked as regular employees of CNN. Conceivably, they would have worked on stories during the Kosovo war. They helped in the production of news."

U.S. funding tech firms that help Mideast dissidents evade government censors.

    By Ian Shapira

The Obama administration may not be lending arms to dissidents in the Middle East, but it is offering aid in another critical way: helping them surf the Web anonymously as they seek to overthrow their governments.

Federal agencies - such as the State Department, the Defense Department and the Broadcasting Board of Governors - have been funding a handful of technology firms that allow people to get online without being tracked or to visit news or social media sites that governments have blocked. Many of these little-known organizations - such as the Tor Project and UltraReach- are unabashedly supportive of the activists in the Middle East.

    Meanwhile . . .

Here in the good ole USA Obama and Clinton are using technology to track and trace our online activities. Whether we're considered dissenters or not.

Now adays Obama and Clinton can use technology to crawl the web find what they consider to be dissenters and send a government propagandist posing as someone else to address in a very personal manner in real time what Obama and Clinton might consider dissent.

I love this next one. The mission statement for our State Department has been given an overhaul. Here it is, and I quote,

"Advance freedom for the benefit of the American people and the international community by helping to build and sustain a more democratic, secure, and prosperous world composed of well-governed states that respond to the needs of their people, reduce widespread poverty, and act responsibly within the international system."

This is most interesting. I was just reading the comments to an article in "The Economist" I linked to earlier.

Seems that those who responded can see right through the weak but obvious attempt to hide the truth from us about the "globocrats".

    Here's one comment.

"Thanks so much for admitting that. Now let's see some people get arrested. It is illegal under the Logan Act for U.S. government officials to meet behind closed doors with leaders of foreign countries. And that's NOT a conspiracy theory."

"The Logan Act" <-- For those who are unfamiliar with this law.

This is but one example of people seeing through the government and corporate media's smoke and mirrors. Seems like everywhere I go and every article I read these days people are responding to these globalist lies and disinformation in the same way. Evidently this hasn't escaped the notice of the globocrats themselves either because Hillary Clinton is now on record admitting that the globalists are losing the infowar in a bad way.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton made a tacit admission during a U.S. Foreign Policy Priorities committee meeting yesterday, arguing that the State Department needs more money because the US military-industrial complex is “losing the information war” to the likes of Russia Today and Al Jazeera due to the US corporate media having completely abandoned “real news”. SOURCE

They're very scared folks. They're scared you will learn the truth they tried so hard to conceal from you.

And what is that truth? The whole false left vs right paradigm is an elaborate and complex hoax a "world that has been pulled down over your eyes" in order to hide one simple truth from you. You are nothing more than a cash cow and canon fodder for a handful of powerful global elitists that feel it is their right to use you and your's anyway they like to further their neocolonial agenda and the formation of their beloved global government.

You saying that the people who own us are not looking out for our best interest? "Us" being the vast majority of American families who gross less than 200K or so a year.

Its been that way since Ike made his speech about the "military-industrial complex," probably long before that! The joke on many of us was Robert Welch and his John Birch Society convincing many of us that Ike was a commie.

Then why is it that the vast majority of American famlies still believe we're sending our kids to fight and die for our freedom? We haven't fought a war for our freedom since 1812.

The rest of the time we've sent our kids off to fight and die simply to enrich a group of people that consider us little more than cattle.

Well, the Japanese DID bomb Pearl.

As a Libertarian I have pledged to refrain from initiating violence. Invoking economic sanctions is not initiating violence.

YOu Need to Change Your AVATAR, Poncho

I can't help but notice how you are preaching on the division in this nation and how bad that division is. If you really mean that, and I believe you do. I believe you are earnest and sincere, brothers. However, your avatar seems to be one that reflects a form of division.

Wouldn't an avatar of Jesus, with His arms stretched wide out not be more appropriate in presenting your call to end division and join as one people, with no blue, or red states; no democrat or republican; no left versus right; no evangelical versus Catholic/Lutheran; no gun advocates versus gun control advocates; no pro-life versus pro-choice?

Your avatar, dressed in a seventeen hundred uniform, holding a seventeen hundred rifle, seems to represent the revolution (I guess), and it appears to be speaking loudly about choosing one side versus the other.

Please don't take this as a criticism, just a friendly observation in light of your rants and raves about the division in this nation and how it is the root and source of all our problems.

BTW, I do agree with you. A nation divided is conquerable! A divided nation is one that is weak and prime for takeover. If we can be manipulated to fight one another, the enemy just sits back and waits until we kill each other.

So, if you honestly believe in promoting UNITY, maybe you need to start with a different avatar!

    Shalom,

    Pastor Paul :type:

I think his avatar is supposed to represent freedom. He likely believes if we were free from globalism (which he believes is dividing people with a superficial right/left dichotomy, and that looks like it makes sense to me), then there would be more unity.
