I don't know, I thought that was pretty clear. People who work are naturaly more conservative than the overeducated elite who think work is beneath them or the poor who think they should not have to.

Why do the overeducated elite who think work is beneath them and/or the poor who think they should not have to have higher incomes than the conservatives who are working harder, smarter, and longer? Welfare doesn't pay THAT good.

I have this same discussion with Libertarians. If Libertarian economic theory "works" then Libertarians should apply it to themselves and boost their economic standing. A simple unscientific poll would demonstrate if Libertarians were doing better or worse than the "median" person.

You left out the government union employees who think that they should be paid more than the value of their labor because they are "heroic" and "making a difference" by plowing snow, standing around the Dept of Motor Vehicles talking to each other, and teaching children (well at least the small percentage of children that are mastering the material anyway).

What in the world are you trying to say?

    Your sentence conveys no meaning.

I honestly don't know how anyone could believe the liberal line overeducated or poor other than indoctrination. Your right, welfare doesn't pay that good, its not designed to. It enslaves and binds keeping its victims alive but dependant on the government for everything.

I am not sure what you mean by Libertarian economic theory. The truth is that government does nothing to build the economy and everything they do drains it and slows it. Less government means more economic growth, simple as that. Now your poll would be a waste of time because that we can't get rid of the government we have. Then your measure of better or worse would also be in question. Its not a matter of doing better or worse, its a matter of doing as well as I want to. I get to decide how hard I work and how well I do. That would be freedom.

You could post that after every post billwald makes, and it would apply.

I cannot remember the last time he made any sense.

At least his "alternet" posts, though completely devoid of truth, weren't nonsensical...
