    I've heard North say that the Article of Confederacy of the Colonies was a better document than the Constitution, but I didn't realize he felt that strongly about it. However, the 10th amendment is in there, even though they pertetually ignore it.

    In a limited sense, a stronger central government was needed than was outlined in the Articles of Confederation.

    As for the rest of North's blatherings, I agree...

    Which blatherings? Outside of North being a gold bug, I generally agree with him.
