Or does He love all people same way, saved or not?

God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16 HCSB)

Well, I think it is important to note that you asked if God hates those who reject Christ. This is much different from a sinner who has not heard of Christ.

The scriptures say God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked.

Eze 18:32 For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.

Eze 33:11 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

God as perfect judge must punish the wicked, but he takes no pleasure in it. This does not give me the impression that he hates them. If he truly hated them, why would he desire that they turn from their wicked ways and live?

God does say he hates sin.

Prov 6:16 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

This is talking more about sin than the sinners themselves, even Christians do some of these sins (pride, lying, wicked imaginations, sowing discord).

Some folks quote Psalm 7:11 to say God hates sinners, but that is not what the verse says.

Psa 7:11 11 God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.

This does not say God hates sinners, it says he is angry with them. That is very different. I get angry when my children do wrong, but I do not hate them.

    And what does Jesus say?

    Matt 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?
48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Jesus said to love our enemies and do good to them. He says our Father makes the sun rise on the evil and good, and sends rain on the just and unjust.

And in verse 48 he tells us to be like our Father in heaven. So obviously God loves even his enemies.

For someone in hell, God might as well not love them; right?

Does a judge hate someone because he gives them the death sentence? He is just carrying out the law.

A judge enforces laws he did not make and does not act for himself. God both made his laws and acts for himself. No matter is "out of his hands." And putting in the Bible's own perspective, it does no good to say you love someone if you do nothing for them. So what would 'love' for those lin hell come down to?-- that he could make it a thousand or a million times worse?

God gave his Son Jesus to die for that man, what more could you ask?

I couldn't ask anything more, but I didn't start this thread with the question that was put.
