Lauren has uncontrolled vomiting when she SHOULD be going home.

    This is now 6 days from when Lauren had her surgery and she should be going home but she's actively non-stop vomiting right now. She will be having an abdominal CT scan today to see if there is fluid in her belly but she can't take the IV contrast and at this point, I don't see her keeping the liquid down at all. The one medication that has worked for the vomiting didn't work this time and the other one doesn't work either. One doctor mentioned another one as well so maybe that would work.

    This is getting so frustrating. She's fine from the surgery itself - no pain at all but this vomiting is seriously out of control.

    Please pray first that the vomiting would stop and then after that that they can find what is going on. This is how I'm feeling right now :BangHead::BangHead::BangHead:

    Lord, we pray that you will control this vomitting that is going on for days in Lauren's body. We pray that You will encourage and strengthen her dear mother. Lord, we are trusting You completely and that You will be using doctors to help in the healing in Lauren's body in the precious name of Jesus we are praying and trusting. AMEN

    Praying that the cause of the vomiting can be discovered and treated, that Lauren's body will continue to gain strength, and that God's peace be with Ann and the entire family.

    Well, the update is she's no better. They put in a PICC line today in anticipation of doing supplemental nutrition starting tomorrow. She just can't continue to not take in anything at all. She will drink - but within a few minutes, vomit it back up again.

    Guys, this is really getting frustrating. She's not been one to have a sensitive stomach at all other than motion sickness so this is weird. I'd expect this from my 18 year old - NOT Lauren. Please pray that this vomiting would stop. Clear and simple. Just stop. Thanks!

    Please make the vomiting stop, and please completely heal Lauren.

    Dear Heavenly Father, we pray that You will have mercy on Lauren, her mother and family!
    Grant her a miracle of stopping the vomitting and that Lauren will be able to keep food in her stomach! We are asking You to give us the faith to believe You for this miracle of mercy for Lauren! Thank You, Lord!!! In the precious Name of Jesus we plead. AMEN:praying::1_grouphug:
