What is the gist of the video? I've watched over five minutes of it and it's basically an ad followed by hyperbole. There is no way to fast forward it.

    Oh, let's see:

    "For mature audiences"
    "some may find this offensive"
"this will be worse than the crash of 2008"
    "millions will lose their savings"
"there will be rioting in the streets and martial law"
    "the end of America"

The gist of the message, is that when the Dollar is removed from its status as the world reserve currency, its value is going to drop like a brick out of an airplane door.

The video is right, in some regards. Economists have been warning about that catastrophe for a long time. The last two years, several major players on the world stage have begun offloading their dollars in favor of other currencies...the current administrations "quantitative easing" (a.k.a. printing a bunch more money every day), coupled with the U.S.'s staggering debts, is adding to this problem.

The video is right, in that if something is not done soon, the American economy will collapse, horribly, and if such a thing happens, there would indeed be "rioting in the streets"...just like there has been when other countries have gone through similar collapses.

The shift of the world economies from the West to the East is happening and there is, honestly, nothing anyone can do about it.

Well, maybe there is but given the current state of the American entitlement generations there isn't much that will be done.

Within the next fifty years China will solidify its place as the dominant world economic superpower and eclipse the US. The shifts are already happening and have been happening for quite a while.

People can use all the rhetoric and hyperbole they want but the reality is the shift is part of the natural economic migration that occurs over generations. I bet a lot of people in England and western Europe heard the same thing when power shifted to the US. It is what it is.

The US economy won't crash and burn like the fanaticism in the clip suggests. Rather it will softly spiral downward and look a lot more like Australia or parts of western Europe. It will contribute but at a less significant pace.

Isn't this just an elaborate ad for an investment company?

We already are on the fast path to insignificance. It has been prophecied, there will be no world super power but the one the antichrist will own.

I've looked in vain for any mention of God, the bible, or baptists on this thread, (the nearest I saw was Webdog's mention of the antichrist). The thread seems to be about the political economy of one nation. Shouldn't it be on the "Politics" forum? I don't know David Jeremiah or Porter Stansberry - maybe one or both is a Christian who has spoken on American economic matters, but even if that is so, it seems to be stretching things to classify the subject as a "General Baptist Discussion".
