It is a little known fact that our illustrious leader, the man who said he'd bring the world closer together, not only stuck his heels in the face of Israel, but he returned the bust of Winston Churchill to the English Embassy.

This man is single-handedly putting our children's children in a place where they'll be paying down the national debt til the day they die. And, should he be allowed to continue with his idea of foreign policy, the irreparable damage may take another generation, or two, to repair!

While many of you may not like the conservative writing of Thomas Sowell, I hope you find the following article as upsetting as I did. :tonofbricks:

That's not a little known fact. It may be a little reported fact, given that the media is essentially an arm of Oba-Mao's PR department, but it is well known, particularly in England and Israel.

The ironic thing is that one of the things that the Obamunists promised us was that Lord Barry would repair all of the relations with our allies that President Bush allegedly destroyed and the very first thing Barry does is to send back a gift given to us by the Great Britain as a sign of solidarity and support during a difficult time.

This whole administration has been a foreign relations nightmare, from Hillary's buffoonery with the Russians ("We worked really hard to find the right translation"...and then mistranslated it), to Lord Barry kicking Churchill out of the Oval Office, to giving the queen of England an ipod with a collection of his speeches on it, to giving Gordon brown a collection of crappy DVDs that he couldn't even play because they have a different format than we do. But these things are relatively minor.

Then there is the administration's lobbying for a federal Europe, thus undermining Great Britain's sovereignty, lobbying for French leadership in NATO, lobbying to take sovereignty over the Falkland Islands away from Great Britain, and numerous cases of throwing Israel under the bus and siding with Muslims who want to destroy Israel and eliminate the Jews.

You are correct as I see it, and it is a shame what is happening!

Though I can't see the benefit of calling the president disrespectful names I acknowledge the lack of wisdom in purposefully offending long term allies.

I don't support showing disrespect to the president but perhaps he's reaping what he's sown.

Remember how he mocked fly over America calling us bitter people who cling to our guns and our religion and how we would have to move to the back of the bus?

And it didn't take Churchill long to figure Hitler out(when all along Neville Chamberlain had Hitler made out to be some Sunday School boy!!!)----------neither would it take him long to have Obama figured out!!!:type:

The bust was a loan from the British. It had to be returned someday. Why not now?

We need to have a more even-handed policy toward the mid-east. Now I know that means that many will say that Israel is being slammed.

It was G. Bush that put us no this track. He took over when we were running a budget surplus. Immediately he cut taxes, raised spending and went into a totally unjust war ... and that increased spending and raised the debt dramatically. I am not happy with the current spending, but let's be honest about where, who and when we started down this path.

Do you really believe a web site with that title will be unbiased? Just curious.

    You ARe Right on Point...

I guess you've been on vacation, as I expected to hear from you a lot sooner, but, better late than NEVER?

Everything you wrote in response to other posts was not only expected, but, highly predictable. You must be in Obama's back pocket, CTB, you even tried the old "blame the George"" spin.

It would be so great to hear something come from you that isn't so blatantly biased and one sided for the man who is clearly ruining this nation.

When this nation succumbs to the double-talk of the left, you will only have yourself to blame. Because, if BHO is elected to a second term, he will finish dismantling this nation, piece-by-piece, and there will be only one person to place the blame it on, OBAMA. You see, in eight years. Bush will be so far removed from the Oval Office, that anything he may have done while in office, will be ancient history.

Believe me when I tell you this. You will have to thank Obama for all the change he ushered in as he is a true disciple of the Rev. Wright and his militant Gospel message.

Can I hear an Amen???

One more thing, CTB, do you have it in writing (anywhere) that England requested the bust to be returned? Just thought I'd ask, maybe you have info Thomas Sowell doesn't have. So fess up, do you know for a fact that England asked us to return the bust???

Pastor Paul (looking forward to finally meeting you in eternity)

Not nearly as much as you are in the Bush hip pocket. I think even you would be honest enough to admit that Bush spend us into very deep debt though his ill advised tax cuts and increased spending. I would think that you would be honest enough to admit he went into office when we were running a budget surplus and turned that around quickly.

To try to absolve Bush of much responsibility of the mess we find ourselves in is like trying to say since over 50 years have passed since his death it is no longer valid to say Stalin was an evil man. It won't wash.

You have been much more one-sided than I. After all I did list, several times, what I liked about Bush. What do you like about Obama?

Bush, with the Patriot Act took away many of your civil rights. He also ran roughshod over Habeous corpus. Actually I do not blame Bush so much as his advisers who mislead him. I do believe he was and is the victim of bad advisers. But as Harry Truman's sign on his desk said, "The Buck Stops Here." I do believe history will be very harsh with Bush. I also believe it will not treat Obama well and that for several reasons. I also believe history will not treat Republicans kindly for their policy of blocking everything Obama has proposed, even positions they advocated before he came into office.

Watch out, your ......... I'd best not go there. I did not know Rev. Wright advises anyone on foreign policy or economic policy, etc., etc.

By the way, I do believe you do not understand African American preaching.
Can I hear an Amen???

    It will be a pleasure.

Was the picture taken by a White House staff member?

It is the nature of the press to photograph political figures they don't like in the worst possible pose. Big deal.

You all never talked on the phone with your feet on the desk? Or are you all claiming Obama committed a civil rights violation?

But does 'he did it first' make it right? I contend that we should rise above that stuff and be the 'bigger man' instead returning insult with insult.

Fine, everyone to his own response. In this case and many others in which the president and his administration has shown their true colors demonstrating ridicule and contempt of conservative America, I feel completely justified in an eye for an eye, tooth for tooth, etc, perhaps not to an extreme in the public arena but enough factual data given especially from his own elitest quotations where people become aware of his true elitest agenda.

But what did Jesus say in response to the 'eye for an eye' concept?

A country that lives by the philosophy of an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth will soon have a society filled with blind and toothless people.
