Do BOTH Cals/Arms Define the term "free Will" same way from the Bible?

That's a good question. Of course, I don't believe man has free-will. My next book in line for reading (after I finish my current two) is "Freedom of the Will" by Jonathan Edwards.

Of course Jonathan Edwards struggled with what he saw in Scripture concerning Gods Sovereignty, being fully in charge of all things, not man. He finally came to grips with its truth. It really liberated his thinking once he came through the struggle with this. John Piper has talked about this concerning Edwards.

The title to his book is misleading, as I don't believe he believed man to have free will. It's a common misnomer. I used to espouse this, then upgraded my belief to a more Scriptural level. Well, actually it was all God. :thumbsup:

I think the premise is that Arminians see man in control, that they must LET God in or God is helpless. (Not all teach this, but many do.) Kenneth Copeland teaches this, and also teaches god as a failure, for example, that satan and the angels abandoned Him being one of His failures. There are more, and I would have to look them up, but he has taught some bizarre lies for sure. I am not naming him an Arminian, simply stating he believes the same thing here on this point.

The logical conclusion of free will can go to this extreme end. Not always, but this is again the extreme when some follow this line of thought.
