Is it a legitimate translation in English or not?

I've done a thread or two on it. The ISV has borrowed liberally from it with no acknowledgment.(I didn't check the O.T.)

I've given a couple New Testaments away to Some South Koreans.

It's more dynamic than the NLTse,but it's still the Word of God. ;)

It's not as functionally equivalent as the NCV,CEV or TEV -- but ...

There are some bumps in the road with the translation. But it's an honest effort.

I have one. I'm sure it is not the most scholarly effort at a translation but I didn't really see any huge problems with it. I did read the whole thing once simply because it was an easy read......flowed easier than other translations.
