Can you show just why it is wrong about Sotierology per the Bible?

    Sure.

Jn 20:31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

The scriptures teach you have to believe to have life. Calvinism teaches you have to have life to believe. Calvinism teaches the exact opposite of scriptures.

    Thanks for your answer!

How would cals respond to this good objection?

Why don't you respond? You believe a person has to be made spiritually alive (regenerated) before they have the ability to believe. I know you believe this because you have posted it dozens of times. You MUST have scripture to support this, otherwise you wouldn't believe it, correct?

So, simply show scripture that shows you must be made alive (regenerated) to have the ability to believe. Should be easy enough.

So you not hold to either cals/Arms who hold that due to the fall, we Must have God apply some type of Grace towards us before able to be able to trust in Christ?

Arms see it as common Grace not regeneration!
SOME see "irresistible Grace" same way!

Who cares what your opinion is? Everybody has opinions.

Where's the scripture that says you necessarily must be regenerated to believe?

You know, that black book under your stack of Reformed authors.

Easy--When you put him on your ignore list.

The killfile is a feature that I couldn't live without on BB. I'm glad it is available.

Isn't posting threads about the same topic over and over considered spamming the board? Some of us are really tired of all the threads dedicated to Calvinism. Why so many for the same topic? And why all over the board instead of in just one place?:BangHead:

Is the "killfile" an application separate from Ignore?

I have to agree, I think it would be best to separate issues involving this perennial debate. Perhaps a "toss" function could be created when any of us hints at the C/A in another thread gets tossed to an awaiting thread for C/A. :)

Or we could have an "Offender" function, then the moderator could "toss" the "offending" post over to C/A.

just keep a sense of humour, and appreciate that I am "predestined" to do that in order to make sure we keep a steady stream moving here on the BB!

It's another name for the ignore function. The term killfile hearkens back to the olden days of posting on Usenet.

I love that verse as a Calvinist. :) But I will not say that we have full life and salvation before belief but that the Spirit "quickens" us. I believe there's a difference.

    lol!

Here it is, and how it happens in the Word:

Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who reside as aliens, scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, who are chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, by the sanctifying work of the Spirit, to obey Jesus Christ and be sprinkled with His blood: May grace and peace be yours in the fullest measure. 1 Peter 1:1-2
