A complete misrepresentation of dispensationalism. At no part of it does it suggest that Christians are to live like they are not a Christian. It is an extreme misrepresentation.

isn't Christian reconstruction movement basically rehashed Post Mil though?
That the Church will redeem society, transform it by Gospel, by applying law of God to its instututions, and basically bring the KLIngdom to earth before Jesus arrives to watch over it?

That is the way I have understood it. But I do not hold to it so that could be wrong. These fellas, in their ignorance, tried to tie dispensationalism to the decline of society by suggesting it teaches we are not to live like Christians except on Sunday. Therefore we do not have the Christian influence in our communities. And this is a result of not believing there is still the OT law of God to follow.

No.....they believe the gospel saving more and more people in society will grow and grow[ the mustard seed].....then society will change as the majority of saved persons will bring law and government more into line with God's laws.
The changing of the law does not bring about christians...the changing of hearts bring abouit christians

Still basically Post Mil as Church brings about "new world order" and than Jesus can come back to rule over it

IF one wants to hold to this, better way is to go to "Kingdom Come" from Bishop paulf, at least he saw it being brought about by God thru Church having ole NT Church power by HS again, as miracles/prophets/apostle were brought back into vogue! (saying tongue in check, bogus to me!)

Either way it still insists that the world is getting better or will. False is false.

Two things to consider: 1. America is not the World. 2. It is darkest before sun rise.

Constructionists are well aware of the destruction of Western Civilization. But is that the sound of a mighty rushing wind in the East?

Perhaps a history and the locus of Dispensationalism should be enough to weigh the system in question.

That's been done before but maybe it's time to renew it for the newbe's. Go for it. Mary McDonald, the Plymouth Brethren, all that.
