It's never time to violate God's Word. I concur with the association. A woman can not be the husband of one wife...it is not a suggestion, it's a requirement.

    "Really good" is quite relative.

I'm sure you can find some solid homosexual relationships too, doesn't make it right.

    Subjective.

The requirement of a pastor to be the husband of one wife is objective.

With all due respect, I see a difference between preaching before a church and pastoring a church. Don't you?

Think that this all pretty much falls under "Spiritual headship Authority"...
From the scriptures, there IS a headship issue here, as the Lord has placed at the top in area of spiritual authority males...

In the Church and in the Home...

men must excercise that authority though in a "Christ like" manner!

It is not time and never will be. God has said what He meant and He does not change. Women are forbidden to be pastors. The only way around it is to forsake the bible and be an apostate.

Now, why would those in "modern" Christian thinking even bother with that? they have own theology, and just hope God agrees with them!

As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths. (Isaiah 3:12)
