    Actually, the source cited here aside, the story about the earth having two moons at one time is a real story originating in real science.

    The question at hand is how one side of the moon is rather smooth and the other rather rough, and the speculation is that there were once two moons and the smaller collided with the larger, plastering itself over the surface rather like a "pie in the face" as described by the team running the simulation.

    Pure hypothesis at this point.

    FWIW, today (August 5) is astronaut Neil Armstrong's birthday (He's now 81 YO.) Maybe he knows which moon he landed on in 1969....assuming that we did, in fact, land on one. :smilewinkgrin:

    Actually I think maybe the only person who can tell us for sure may have been Elvis. Unfortunately he's still on his UFO tour so we may never really know for sure. :BangHead:

    Hate to burst your bubble, but I have it on good authority that Elvis is in Las Vegas. He was spotted walking on the main drag arm-in-arm with Bigfoot. :smilewinkgrin:

    Could be....I do know for a fact that Area 51 is just a stone's throw away from Vegas! :thumbs:

    If he is there, I wonder if he spends any time crying in those drive-through wedding chapels? :eek:
