How many new nations?

    I propose 50 new nations under a revised Articles of Confederation called "The American Confederation." After it is up and running we invite Canadian provinces and Mexican states to join up at a prescribed slow rate, maybe one a year.

    What about Puerto Rico?

    and could NY come in as two nations? (upstate & NYC)
    same for Calif
