I wanted to know just how many persons on this board watch TBN.

I selectively watch it. In other words, I like that they show Billy Graham Crusade reruns, and the Gaither Homecomings.

Occasionally, they may have a good teacher on, but one must be careful, because most of the TBN folks are locked into, and sold out on WOF!

So, take the poll, and provide your comments. Because there are so few television networks that have Christian teaching available, TBN fits a need, but I am highly selective.

Of course, to be honest, I don't mind listening to some of the WOF preachers, because it allows me to be up on what they are teaching, and my ministry has always been to help those devastated by the WOF folks. I was a WOF causality myself, :tonofbricks: and I can't effectively minister to others if I'm not privy to what they are doing now. :BangHead:

    Shalom,

    Pastor Paul :type:

    I do!

There is quite a bit of good stuff on TBN

Its no different then NBC, CBS, or ABC. On those networks there is some good stuff..sports, news, etc....but lots of trash. So you have to be selective.

Same with TBN. They have some good christian movies and some good teachers and music.

But thay also have some very bad teachers and "Name it claim it" trash.

Just be selective, and ignore the bad stuff.

problem is that MUCH of it is heretical/cultic stuff!

they place HEAVY emphasis on teachi9ngs by WoF/health/wealth/name it claim it, so would tend to just avoid that station!
They have the Hinns/Copelands/hagins etc ALL heretic teachers as being "sent from God!"

I don't know the lineup on TBN, but among similar stations, I watch Charles Stanley, Michael Youssef, and Way of the Master.

You just have to know who you're watching.

Trinity Broadcasting Network. Home of the Word of Faith heretics.

However, they do broadcast some solid preachers that aren't WOF. Best to just stay away from it unless you want a good laugh. (or cry).

Those can be found outside of TBN so one need not expose themselves to the reckless false teachings of most of what is on TBN.

....at this time, I can only get Graham and Gaither on TBN at this time. When the day comes that I can get these two fine shows on another network, I will drop TBn like a bad habit!

Thanks for your concern, but, I have enough wisdom to make up my mind and know when to change the channel!

    Peace brother!
