There are certainly some for whom that is true. Many of the rest would at least like to go back to a segregated society.

 

Of course this is an outright lie. A huge percentage of the tea party are minorities. There are a much greater part of the Black Caucus who are racist against white people, or even successful conservative black people....

Each and everyone of us are racially charged, conservative starved, right wing fanatics! Our mission in life is to return to the pre-civil war society where life was well defined by racial segregation and lines drawn in the sand.

You have pulled our curtain aside and revealed our true agenda, and I applaud your ability to discover the hidden agenda behind each tea party member.

Oh my, what will we do now that Magnetic Poles has exposed or dark side? I guess we'll have to ask Sarah Palin to deliver another productive spin campaign to recover our national credibility.

Do you actually think the Tea Party is mostly minority? That's what you said! You said "A huge percentage of the tea party are minorities." That would mean that at least fifty percent of the Tea Party is minority, that is obviously not true.

 

No, if he said "a majority of Tea Party members are minorities", then that would mean at least fifty percent. A "huge percentage" can mean a lot of things. "Huge" is subjective.

 

A comment like "huge percentage of tea party are minorities" is meaningless unless you back it up with something other than opinion.

I have not found your comment to be true.

 

I don't know about elsewhere, but the couple of Tea Party rallies I have seen down here have been a majority of minorities. A large percentage of blacks (probably 5-10 percent), a large number of Hispanics (10-15 percent), and a smattering of other (especially natives of India and some Chinese). An enormous number of retired individuals (who, while not considered a minority, are certainly one of the "poor disenfranchised" groups that the liberals are always touting) and a bunch of blue collar construction worker types. I have never seen ANY of the "rich white racist" crowd that the Dems are always speaking of. The few of these that there are, are not part of the Tea Party, but the establishment republicans.

The only racist signs that have ever been at a Tea Party rally, were later discovered to be card carrying democrat plants!!

 

I find it hilarious that the folks who want Havensdad to prove his claim give Magnetic Poles a pass on his.

I can give exact percentages, but I believe that there is a greater percentage of blacks in the Tea Party than there are whites in the Congressional Black Caucus.

 

Yep. It's the trickle down effect.

 

The same can be said for some democrats, as well. The last known Klan member in Congress was a democrat, I seem to recall.

 

Quit bring up the truth, it will get you in trouble.

 

And lest we forget, when the Civil Rights Act was passed in 1964, a higher percentage of Republicans in Congress voted for it than Democrats. (One of those who voted against it was Algore's father.)
