    Like for outreach/VBS/Evangelism etc?

Do you have fellowship/interaction in community outside of baptist churches?

    We do.

In our county, there is an evangelical minister's fellowship where the evangelical pastors get together each month for breakfast, prayer, teaching and encouragement. My husband said that it's been really good especially to get to know the other pastors and to be able to recommend other churches for people who are not close to ours. He said he knows what are "good" churches and what are churches that one may want to avoid.

In ministries in the church building, we tend to do them ourselves because we are one of the largest churches in the area and have the resources to do stuff but we absolutely invite other smaller churches to join us - but not in leadership.

But we HAVE done worship nights for the churches each year and that usually is done with fellow evangelical churches and it's been amazing. Worship and then prayer. You can't beat that!

Great answer, as it follows"biblical model!"

God wants us to have our "peculiar/specific Baptist distinctives" but NOT at the expense of having those keeping us from fellowshipping and being involved with the rest of the Body of Christ!

    1. When our church began as a mission we rented time from the local Catholic Church. They were very good to us. After their new and larger church was built they sold us the facility we had been meeting in. Considering what that facility might have brought on the open market they practically gave it to us. Before their new church was built we were probably the only Baptist church in the world with the Stations of the Cross on the sanctuary walls.

    2. We cooperate with 6 other churches and a synagogue in running a food pantry.

    3. Easter Sunrise services and other community services during the year.

    4. Our pastor does attend the local ministerial meetings. I do not know how many other church pastors are in that group.

    5. Our choir has sung in a number of community concerts.

I am probably forgetting other areas we cooperate with others.

ROTFL - I was thinking about this because the Catholic churches are shrinking around here and there have been a few small ones that have folded. I think I'd be happy to pick one up - despite the stations of the cross!! LOL

I have not heard from any that don't. All who responded so far, do interact with others besides Baptist. As we do as well. What is amazing, is how quick people get negative.

I am glad that other Christian churches interact together for community projects. I hope that all do, it is a blessing.
