    ...how long it takes this forum to load? Or is it just me and my computer?

    It seems to me there must be an awful lot of advertisement being loaded up with each page. What a drag.

    No problems here, Windows 7, Kaspersky Internet Security blocks the ads, page loads in less than a second.

    Using Firefox with AdBlocker add-on I don't see any ads......anywhere, ever.

    I used to use FireFox but had a lot of problems with it. Finally started using Google Chrome. Otherwise, the slow loading must be my computer.

    CCleaner is a fantastic free program you can download that will speed your computer up. I have it set for startup, clears away all your temporary files and cookies. It also has a Registry repair which works well and has never caused my computer any problems. It also allows you to easily disable programs at startup, which will speed your computer up.

    Another easy trick that will speed up your computer is right click on Recycle Bin, go to Properties, and reduce the memory from 10% down to 1%.

    I'm using Firefox as well and lately have been having LOTS of problems with the system trying to block all the ads. The ads don't pop up, but the computer stops every 10 seconds or so to deal with them. It's a real pain. Once I log in to BB, it's not so bad, but trying to read here without logging in is practically impossible now.
